What can I do with it? Can you give me some advice? 2 Lead in: “Garage Sale “and talk about it. 3 Teach some new words. 1 Give the teacher some advice. 2 Say something about “ Garage Sale” 3 Learn some new words 充分利用课内外资源,激发学生的学习兴趣。 4’ 3.While-reading First-time Reading Ask some questions: 1 When and where was Aunt Ann’s Garage sale? 2 What things were sold at the garage sale? 3 Did the sale have a bad start? Second-time reading: Ask Ss to 1 number the paragraphs 2 Group these paragraphs into two parts and write down the main idea of each part. Third-time reading: 1 Ask the students to read part1 and underline what Mike and Aunt Ann did for the preparations? 2 Ask the students to use the expressions from the text to describe the pictures. 3 Ask the students to read Part 2 and answer some questions.
