S: They’re in Egypt. T: Which is the largest of the pyramids? S: The Great Pyramid of Khufu. T: Who built it? S: Egyptians. T: How many people worked for over 20 years to build it? S: About 100,000 people. T: When did Khufu order the old Egyptians to build the Great Pyramid? S: In 2,560 BC. T: What’s it made up of? S: Two million stones. T: How heavy is each stone? Ask the students to describe Qin’s Terra Cotta Warriors. Step 2 Presentation      1. Read 1a, answer the questions and present the new words. (The underlined words are the new words.) T: Where are the pyramids? S: They’re in Egypt. T: Which is the largest of the pyramids? S: The Great Pyramid of Khufu. T: Who built it? S: Egyptians.
