Help or not Help
Recently（最近）, more and more people are becoming cold and indifferent（漠不关心的,冷淡的,）. Most people choose not to help people who are in trouble especially（特别,格外,尤其） the old people, not because they are cold-blooded（冷血;无情的） but they are afraid of helping them. There is a heat discussion on the Internet about this problem. In my opinion（我的意见是，依我之见）, no matter what kinds of reason we should still help people who are needed.
First of all, as we all know, respecting（尊重） the old people and protecting （保护）kid or woman who are pregnant（孕妇）are our traditional virtue（美德） of china. This tradition virtue has already formed hundreds of years ago and it has been past one generation（一代） to another generation. So as a Chinese, we need to inherit（继承） it and follow our ancestor’s（祖先,祖宗） footsteps.
Also, if we do not help people who are in need, the result（结果） of the accident may be worse. For example, I read a piece of news a few days ago, an old man fell down in the road but no one tries to help him. All of them are afraid of being asked to take responsibility（责任） of this accident. So they have to choose to stand by and do nothing else. After about one hour, when the ambulance（救护车） came at last, the old men had dies just because of the blood chocking（堵塞） the vein（血管） of his nose. I was astonished（感到惊讶的） at this piece of news. I think if there is someone who can call 120 much earlier or help the old man to turn over his body; the old man would not die at last.
Sometimes, when we are helping others, maybe we are helping ourselves. As we all know, there is a famous story that a little girl give a cup of warm milk to a poor boy that are cold and very hungry in a cold night. Several years later, the boy becomes an extraordinary（不平常的） doctor and he save the girl’s life in reward. Therefore(因此), a kind person always has a good end. We should try to help others and become a kind people.
In a word, helping people is a very good behavior(行为，举止), which we should not forget. Only we help each other can we make a more harmony world.
