Step 1 Revision
Translate the sentences.
1. 我经常怀疑是否值得花如此多的时间在家庭作业上。
2. 我不能理解为什么他们对我如此严格。
Step 2 Lead in
1. 宾语从句的概念
宾语从句即句子作宾语,而不再是一个词或短语作宾语。
I like my teacher.
I know him .
I know Mr Li teaches English.
包含宾语从句的句子结构:
主句+连接词(引导词)+宾语从句
(1)由连词that引导的宾语从句
注:当宾语从句是陈述句时,用that 连接从句。that 在句中无词汇意义,在从句中不能充当成分,在口语当中往往省略。
(2)由连词whether, if 引导的宾语从句
注:当宾语从句是一般疑问句时,用if/whether连接从句,意思是是否,注意要将一般疑问句改为陈述语序。
当句末为or not时,引导词只能用whether而不能用if.
(3)当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时,用 ?连接
自己总结:
当宾语从句是特殊疑问句时,我们用________来连接从句,注意要将从句改 为________语序。
Step 3 Presentation
1. Explain: We use a question word to introduce an object clause that expresses a wh- question. The word order in the clause should be the same as that in a statement.
2. 连接代词和连接副词引导宾语从句是由特殊疑问句变化而来,用陈述句语序。放在see, say, tell, ask, answer, know, decide, find out, imagine, suggest, wonder, discover, understand, inform, advise等之后。

提建议的句型
We give suggestions politely using structures such as Why not…, Why don’t you,…, What/ How about…, Let’s… and Shall we…
Tip: We also use perhaps to give suggestions.
Perhaps you should manage your time better.
1. 句型Why not…?是Why don’t you …?的缩略形式,“为什么不……?” “你为什么不……?”,后面跟动词原形。
e.g. Why not donate your pocket money to charity?
你为什么不把零用钱捐给慈善组织?
=Why don’t you donate your pocket money to charity?
2. What/How about …? “……怎么样?” “……如何?”,后面跟名词,代词或者动名词。
e.g. What/ How about having a cup of coffee? 喝杯咖啡怎么样?
3. let’s … “让我们……吧”,后接动词原形。
e.g. Let’s listen to the teacher. 让我们听老师讲吧。
Shall we …? “我们……好吗?”后面跟动词原形。
e.g. Shall we go swimming tomorrow? 我们明天游泳好吗?
