特征分析
（1）四年级学生已经有一定的用英语表达的能力，会用英语进行问候，能听懂老师的课堂用语，明白老师的指令。
（2）已对run、walk、swim、dance、eat、drink等动词有了初步的认识。
（3）已学过No smoking.No swimming.所以对动词的ing形式也见过。
教学目标
一、情感目标
1.培养学生关心他人，珍惜友情的美好感情。
2.引导学生注重合作，学会思考。
二、知识目标
1.能听懂会说、认读以下句子：
What are you doing? I’m cooking.
What’s he/she doing? He/She is sleeping.
2.听、说、认读以下单词：
sleeping cooking washing studying painting
三、能力目标
1．能够运用正确的语言询问他人正在做什么：
What are you doing?
2. 能够简单地描述自己或他人正在做什么：
I’m … He/She is …

(1).用一张图片介绍：This is Mocky.
T:What are you doing, Mocky?
T:I’m eating. （边回答边作动作）整体教读
用同样的方法教读playing 和drinking.
(2).把Ann的图片给一个学生，引导全班同学问：
What are you doing,Ann? 引导学生回答：I’m sleeping.(做动作)
重点教sleeping的发音
这时板书：What are you doing?和sleeping(让学生用手指拼写sleeping)
先写sleep，再写sleeping，让学生明白sleeping就是在sleep后加ing构成。
用同样的方法教读cooking
(3).把Lulu的图片给第一小组的同学，让其它三个小组问：
What are you doing,Lulu?引导第一小组的学生回答I’m washing.
教读Washing并板书和拼写
以此类推，用同样的方法教studying和painting
