The story of tadpoles looking for mummy (平板课)教学过程 纪丹(2015.4) 一、 教学内容 快乐英语阅读“The story of tadpoles looking for mummy” 二、 教学目标 a. 知识目标 1. 能听懂、会读、会说词汇:tadpoles, look for, mummy, belly, miss, so much; 2. 能听懂、会读、会说并会使用句型Your mummy has a... 3. 能用The frog has...句型描述青蛙的特征。 b. 技能目标 1. 能较熟练地找到平板电脑资源库中资源进行自主学习; 2. 能较熟练地使用平板电脑完成相应练习,并能根据反馈信息及时进行自我评价; 3. 能理解并有感情地朗读故事; 4. 能在小组内合作讨论故事结局并表演故事。 c. 情感目标 1. 使学生感受到动物妈妈和宝宝之间的爱,学习小蝌蚪面对困难勇于尝试的精神; 2. 使学生体会到利用平板电脑自主与合作学习时的便捷与快乐。 三、 教学重难点 1. 能用The frog has...句型描述青蛙的特征。 2. 能较熟练地找到平板电脑资源库中资源进行自主学习; 3. 能较熟练地使用平板电脑完成相应练习,并能根据反馈信息及时进行自我评价; 4. 能在小组内合作讨论故事结局并表演故事。 四、教学准备 平板电脑及书写笔,耳机,智慧课堂网络平台及PPT等。 五、教学过程 Step 1: 导入话题 T: Do you like animals? Ss: Yes. T: Let me show you some pictures about animals first. PPT呈现图片。 T: Wow, how lovely they are! Look, Mother and her baby look the same, right? Ss: Yes. T: Would you like to say some words about the pictures? S1: Love. S2: Sweet. … T: As we know, many animal mothers and their babies just look the same, but some of them don’t. Look at these babies. They look quite different from their mother. Can you find their mother? Who can come here and match? 请一生在大屏幕上连线。 T: Is he/she right? Ss: Yes. Step 2: 初步感知故事 T: Good, I agree. Today, I’m going to tell you a story of tadpoles, looking for their mummy. While listening, you should choose the correct answer according to the story. Have you got that? 师朗读故事,学生在平板上完成选择题。 进入智慧课堂界面,反馈答案,如有错回到PPT页面课文部分进行讲解。 Step 3: 自学故事 (1)自学单词 T: Do you like this story? Ss: Yes. T: All right, it’s your turn, learn it by yourselves. First, learn the new words. After learning, I’ll check you. OK? Ss: OK. 下发练习,学生在平板上自学单词。 T: Well, are you ready for the exercise? Ss: Yes. T: Good, here we go. 下发听力练习,学生在平板上完成“听录音选词”。 系统批改核对答案,纠正错词。 T:Let’s go on. What do the sentences mean? First, read it, and then, tell us the Chinese meaning. 请三位学生口头翻译句子。 (2)自学故事 T: Next, learn to read the story. Step one, read after the cartoon, try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation. Step two, read the story by yourself with emotion. I’ll check you when you fish your study. You can start now. 学生在平板上进入“资源”文件夹,打开视频和电子课本朗读故事。 T: Do you understand the story? Can the tadpoles find their mummy finally? Ss: Yes. T: So who is their mummy? Ss: A frog. T: What does a frog have? Please look, choose and write. 师截屏下发手写练习,生在平板上书写并提交。 师选择1-2位学生答案展示并核对答案后,生齐读句子: A frog has … Step 4:指导朗读 (1) 师领读 (2) 分角色朗读 指导扮演“蝌蚪”的学生朗读句子时注意“高兴、失望、悲伤”各种情绪,指导扮演“妈妈们”的学生“不同的动物妈妈”使用不同的声音朗读。 Step 5: 小组讨论,续编故事并表演 T: The tadpoles find their mummy. Are they happy? Ss: Yes. T: What else will they say to each other? Talk in groups of four. 学生四人小组讨论,说说它们还可能说的话。每人在自己组内的讨论区输入一句。师选择一组并全班展示。 T:I agree with you, so it’s your new ending. You can act out the story with your ending. Act in groups of eight. It’s your show time now. Step 6: 故事拓展 T: Let’s come back to the tadpoles. They look for their mummy time and time again, and they fail again and again, but they never give up. Finally, they find their mummy. They’re so lovely. Do you love these tadpoles? Ss: Yes. T: Boys and girls, we can learn something from the tadpoles, remember to try when you face difficulties. Remember your friends’ help when you’ve overcome difficulties. T: Well, how does a tadpole change into a frog? Can you describe? Think it over and fill in the blanks. 生在平板上手写完成填空。 T: Show us your answer with actions. Step 7: Home work 1. 有感情地讲述小蝌蚪找妈妈的故事,并用手机或电脑以mp3的形式录下来,上传到资料库。 2. 试着说出蝌蚪变青蛙的过程。
