一、教学目标:
知识目标:
1能听、说、读、写词汇::sun, moon, Art, teach, fly, fly a kite.
2能了解、识别关于形状类词汇:square ,rectangle, circle .
3能听、说、读、写句型: What shape is the …? It’s a /an…Show us how to…
4学生能理解、朗读、表演A板块对话 。
能力目标:
1能将本堂课所学的句型“What shape is the …? It’s ….”运用到生活实践中。
2能就“谈论事物形状”的话题进行简单的会话交流。
情感目标:
本堂课的教学内容与学生的生活紧密相联,这能激发学生的学习兴趣,培养他们的英语思维能力和良好的学习习惯。

三、教具准备:简笔画,溜溜球 ,剪画,PPT课件等
四、教学过程:

Step 2 Presentation and practise
1. T: I can play with a yo-yo.
T:Let me show you how to play with a yo-yo. 老师玩溜溜球,并出示新句型:Show you how to….
T: Can you play with a yo-yo ?

T: Show us how to ...(动词原形)
2. Ss discuss in groups. Make a dialogue

3. T: I like playing with a yo-yo. I also like drawing pictures . Look ! I can draw a kite . Let me come to the blackboard and show you how to draw a kite . (老师画风筝)

同法,引导学生到黑板上来一个包和太阳 (bag-rectangle, sun- circle)

6 . T : I am teaching you about shapes . But how about Miss Li ? What is Miss Li doing? Let’s go and have a look .
7 . Listen and choose (listen to passage 1) ( 听背景部分录音,选择正确的答案。)同时处理此部分生词:
① Art , 让学生根据所给单词,归纳字母组合 ar 的发音,并适当拓展。
② teach … about…
③ learn how to do sth.
8 . Watch the cartoon and circle the pictures
T: Miss Li is teaching her studens about shapes . The students are learning how to draw them . Let’s watch the cantoon and circle the answers , OK ?

教学反思:
本堂课是Unit 9第一课时,本课时内容多,重、难点也较集中,如何以优化的方法来突破教学重、难点?我结合学生的兴趣,紧紧围绕重、难点,设计了一系列的活动,如:看动画、玩溜溜球、画画等,力求通过多样化的形式,激活学生思维,以激发学生学习的浓厚兴趣和培养学生自主学习的能力,唱响快乐的课堂主旋律。这堂课主要有如下几个特点:
一、 导入巧妙、注重实效
所谓“施教之功,贵在导入”。导入作为一堂课的关键环节,它将影响着整堂课的教学进程。如果教师在导入时能够紧紧抓住学生心弦,激发他们的兴趣,学生将主动参与到学习中来,课堂教学将更具艺术性。在本堂课中,我很注重新知的导入。如我用一段幽默搞笑的动画复习句型Can you…?What can you do ? I can…,同时过渡到新句型Let me show you how to,可以说,当动画一亮相时学生就被深深地吸引。除此还有玩溜溜球,用简笔画导入形状,用课件导入课文等,可以说每个新知的导入都各不相同,但都取得了很大的成效,学生也能始终沉浸在快乐的课堂氛围中。
二、 节奏紧凑、环环相扣
本堂课紧紧围绕教学重、难点,活动形式力求密集、快速地进行,以提高英语的使用率。在新知的过渡方面能做到衔接自然,且非常巧妙。如从画画过渡到形状的教学,又如由“fly a kite”导入“How many …can you see?”的教学等。这种层层深入的教学方法,既激发了学生的求知欲,又使得整堂课的教学显得多而不乱、杂而有序、环环相扣。
三、巧设任务、提高能力
在课文教学时,要求学生在听的过程中捕捉到正确的信息,这样的活动设计能培养学生良好的听力习惯与策略;在阅读部分,设计快乐阅读的环节,引导学生自主学习,选择自己喜爱的方式进行阅读,有效地激发了学生的阅读兴趣,培养了学生的阅读能力;又如在新授句型的环节,我设计了用形状画图,并就图与同桌用英语进行交流的活动,内容既涉及今天所学的句型,又包括了以前所学的知识。不仅体现了学科之间相互整合的理念,又能提高学生的口语水平,使语言的学习过程得到较好地展示。
