It’s Thanksgiving Day.
1. When is Thanksgiving Day in the U.S.?
2. Do you know why they celebrate Thanksgiving Day?
3. How to celebrate Thanksgiving?
Talk about the food for the dinner. Elicit the word “turkey”, and add something more.
4. Listen to Part I and answer:
①Where did Jenny go on Thanksgiving Day?
② How did they greet each other?
③What was grandmother doing then?
5. Read Part II and fill in the blanks.
