When did he start / stop …..? How long did he……..? Ø 单元话题 1、 表述自己在过去的生活经历。   2、 采访、询问他人过去的一些生活经历和所取得的成绩。   3、 描述自己和周围同学的生活经历。   4、 写一篇简短的人物传记。并附上人物的小档案。 Ø 重要句型   Who’s that? That’s Deng Yaping.   What’s her job? She is a great ping-pong player.   When was she born? She was born in 1973.   When did she become a ping-pong player?    She became a ping-pong player when she was 3 years old. / When she was 3 years old.   When did she …? When she was … years old.   How long did she …? When did she stop …?   When did you …? I … when I was … years old. Period One 【教学内容】: l Section A: 1a 1b 1c l 继续复习一般过去时的用法 l When引导的特殊疑问 When was he/she born? He/She was born …. 【教学目标】: l 语言目标:   关键词汇、谈论著名人物的职业、生日等情况。 l 能力目标:   听、说训练 【教学重点】:     基本单词,词汇和句型。 【教学难点】:     能够运用When句型用一般过去式提问。 【教学重难点讲解】: 1. When was he born? 她什么时候出生的? She was born in 1973. 她出生于1973年。 be born 意为“出生于”,后面跟表示时间或地点的介词短语(be用过去时态形式was或were,因为人的出生为发生在过去的事,所以用一般过去时)。本句型实际上是被动语态,born原形是bear,结构为“be+动词的过去分词”。 例:When were you born? He hiccupped for 69 years and 5 months. 他打嗝69年5个月。 “How long”是就一段时间进行提问,因此回答时用一定加介词for,并且后面加表示一段的时间。 例:你在校学英语多久了?我学英语一年了。 How long did you learn English at school? I learned English for one year.  2.When did he start hiccupping? 他什么时候开始打嗝的? He started hiccupping in 1922. 他从1922年开始打嗝。 “when”是对具体时间进行提问,回答时用表示时间的一点的短语,如“in 1922”,注意与“How long”的区别。  3.start的用法 start意为“开始”后接名词,动名词或动词不定式。常用短语: start doing sth. start to do sth. 例: The birds started singing / to sing in the tree. 鸟儿开始在树上唱歌。  4.When did he stop hiccupping?   Stop的用法,常用的两个短语 stop doing sth. 停止做某事(停止正在做的事情,不再做了) stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事(停止原来做的事情去做另外一件事) 例:Class begins. Let’s stop talking. When the teacher came in, we all stopped talking. Period Three 【教学内容】: l Section A: 3a 3b 4a 4b l 阅读训练与写作 【教学目标】: l 能读懂名人简介的文章,并学会采访自己的同学,把他们的信息用一般过去时表达出来。 【教学难点】: l 课文中介绍人物的一些单词,词汇和语法。 【教学重点】: l 本课重点是掌握并运用前两课时的句型,要求学生能应用他们读懂名人简介的文章,并填写相应的表格。 【教学重难点讲解】:  1.You are never too young to start doing things.    做事情不怕年龄小。 too…to… 太…而不能。“too…to…”是英语中常用的一种结构,其句型为“too+形容词或副词原级+to do …”,译为“太…而(以致)不能…”。它在形式上是肯定的,但在意义上是否定的。 “too…to…”本身已含有否定的意思,因此,不定式前一般不加not.  例:The boy is three years old. He is too young to go to school. 这个男孩三岁了,他太小不能去上学。 The box is too heavy for me to carry. 对我来说,这个箱子太重我搬不动。 My daughter is too young to dress herself.    我的女儿太小不会自己穿衣服。 【专项练习】: ( )1. Do you want to take part in our school sports meeting? 你想参加我们学校的运动会吗? 3.He was the first Chinese pianist in the 70-year history. 在钢琴大赛70年的历史中,他是第一个获得这样荣誉的中国钢琴家。 the 70-year history 70年的历史,其中70-year做history的定语, year不能用复数。 如:an eighty-year old woman 一个八十岁老人 l 年龄表达方法 (1)用基数词表达年龄,可以加上“…years old”      three years old. (2)用when引导的从句 when I was three(years old) (3)at the age of +基数词 at the age of three (4)基数词+-year-old three-year-old,注意这种表达常作定语 【专项练习】: ( )1.
