③I lost one of my rockets two weeks ago.

一、创设情境，切入主题
Step 1　Lead－in
Lead in by discussing the following questions：
Have you ever built a model？
What was it？
Have you ever joined a club？
Discuss in groups for three minutes.Then some students present their answers in front of the class.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2　Listening
Listen to the tape and know about the main points of the passage.At the same time，fill in the blanks with the words you hear：
1.Paul began to launch rockets two________ago.
2.Paul joined a rocket club in his________last year.
3.Two weeks ago，Paul’s rocket landed in some________.
Finish the task in class in orally.
Step 3　Reading
Read the lesson and answer the following questions：
1.What is one of Paul’s rockets made of？
2.How many members are there in the rocket club？
3.How many times does Paul launch most of his rockets？
Read the passage and finish the task in class orally.
Step 4　Practice
Ask the students to write a short passage to introduce his or her hobby and the club he or she joins.
Work in groups to finish the task.After a while，some groups present their passages in front of the class.
When the students are preparing，the teacher walks around the classroom to solve the problems the students may have.
Step 5　Come to “Let’s Do It！”
Read the lesson，finish Exercise 1 together.
Fill in the blanks in Exercise 2 together.
三、布置作业
Finish off Exercise 3 in “Let’s Do It！”.
