M1U1 Project: Starting a new school club
Learning aim:
1.To learn two articles about after-school activities in school
2.To learn the use of approve, charge, inform, require and so on
3.To learn develop after-school activities and design a poster adverting a new school club.
Key points:
To find out how an activity attracts the students and helps the students
Teaching methods: group work and discussion, practice

Ⅰ. Preview (warm-up) 预习热身

Step 2 To do the project of starting a new after-school activity
Every student has to tell their classmates what after-school activities they would like to start if they could.
Discuss the tasks listed below and decide which group members will responsible for what tasks.

Members responsible for doing research need to find information from various sources about after-school activities and posters（海报）.

How does it attract its viewers?_________________________
Group members who are making the poster will have to draft(草稿) the poster based on all the ideas from our previous(之前的) research and discussion.
When the draft is done, each member should read it carefully and give suggestions on its wording（措辞） and design（设计）.
Present their poster to the class. Tell the class what is special about their activity.
