四、知识点拨: favorite可作名词和形容词。表示"最喜欢的",或"最喜爱的人或物"如:Football is his favorite sports. Milk is my favorite.
What's your favorite subject? 还可以写成What subject is your favorite?
表示"最喜欢……"可以用动词like……best :What's your favorite subject?可以写成What subject do you like best?

四、知识点拨:1.英语中日期的表达法:星期几+ 月+日+年:

2. 对星期几提问:--What day is it today ? --It is Wednesday.
2. why的用法
1)作疑问副词,用来引导特殊疑问句,对原因进行询问,回答时常用because来引导,why意为"为什么",相当于what …for例如:
-Why do you go to school on foot?= What do you go to school on foot for? -Because my bike is broken(坏了).
2)why还可以构成句型:Why don't…?=Why not…? 意为"为什么不做某事"?用来表示提出建议,此时不用because来回答。
例如:Why don't/not do your homework.

【点拨】busy是形容词,意为"繁忙的,忙碌的",常见短语:
be busy (in)doing sth=be busy with sth. 忙于做某事。
