The students of Grade Six have learned English for 3 years. They have got many English words and sentences, and they’ve got some oral English.
Most of them like learning English. But they can’t use them very well, they haven’t Enough English environment, so in class we need make many speaking chance for them, like pair work.
Some Ss can learn the new words by themselves and read
the text, and they can understand it. Ss like pair work, group work ,because they can help each other.

1. Make Ss like our country.
2. Make Ss like peace, not like war.
二、过程与方法
1. Ss sing English songs, then go into the class. Ss learn by themselves, and find some questions, then the teacher help them.
2. Ss Listen, say, read and write
3. Pair work, Group work.

1. Knowledge:
Word: building, all around, peace, inside, show.
Language: Do want you to…? I want to…
2. Ability:
Ss can ask other people what he/she want to do, and can tell what want to do by himself / herself.

教学活动1热身活动中利用韵文将学生带入英语的氛围,并用3模块学生喜欢的话题“业余爱好”激发学生的学习兴趣。
Warmer:
Greeting:
T; Hello, everyone! How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thank you.
T lead Ss say the chant in Module 3, encourage them say and do the actions.
Revise the old knowledge:
T:Do you collect stamps?
S1: Yes, I do. What’s your hobby?
T; Travelling is my hobby.
(预测:学生可能不理解Travelling的含义,老师讲解并示范它的读音,同时出示该单词卡,贴在教室黑板的一个恰当的位置上。)
教学活动21. 利用谈话的形式,并且展示一张教师自己的旅游相片,吸引学生注意力,自然的导入新课。再用PPT 展示与新课内容紧密相关的图片,激发学生的语言创造力。让学生用学过的语言谈论图片,并借机教学新的词汇。
2. 。学生在自我学习中发现重点语句,有利于培养学生的自学能力,并在小组中互相帮助,发扬了学生的互助精神。
Presentation:
1. Lead in:
1) T show a photo of my travelling. And says: I like travelling very much. Look at this photo. I took it in Beijing. Do you like travelling? Daming and Simon want to visit the UN building in New York. Do you want to visit the UN building?
2) T shows the picture of the UN building and others. Let Ss talk about them. During this time, we can teach Ss the new words: building, all around, peace, inside, show.
(预测:Ss can be in interested in it, maybe they think why there are many flags ,or why they build the UN building. )
3). Listen, point and find"want to".
Let Ss find the important sentences by themselves, put them in groups, they can help each other.
Do you want to …? Yes, we do./Yes, please.
They want to ….
I want to….
(预测: Ss can find and understand them. )
教学活动3小组练习活动是学生喜欢的一种练习方式,这样提高学生的参与率,调动学习积极性,也培养了学生的互助精神。
Practice:
Pair work:
Student A do an action , in order to show something he/she wants to do, the other one asks: Do you want to …? Student A answers with “Yes. / No.”
They won’t stop until student B guess the right answer.
Group work:
Let Ss say “I want to …. Do you want to ….? one by one. In order to practice the important sentences. Which group can be right and quick, which group is the winner.
(预测:Ss maybe can’t say all of verb phrases, so they can use the phrases in Module 8)
教学活动4一节课结束前的小结对学生来说尤为重要,它可以使学生更清楚的明白本节课的主要目标,使老师明白本节课的课堂生成。
Summary:
Today we study how to ask what someone wants to do and tell what you want to do.
