There was once a farmer who lived near a road. It was not a busy road, but sometimes, cars passed the farm. Near the farm gate, there was a large hole in the road. This hole was always full of water, and the drivers of the cars could not see how deep the hole was.
Then when they drove into the hole, they could not drive out because it was so deep. The farmer did not spend much time working on his farm. He spent most of it watching the hole. When a car drove into it, he pulled the car out with his tractor and asked the driver for a lot of money for doing it. One day, the driver of a car said to him, “You must make a lot of money by pulling cars out of this hole night and day.”

At nine most mornings the same scene is repeated in office buildings around the world. An employee walks into the lift with his boss and apart from a mumbled(咕噜的) “good morning”， the junior is lost for words. “Small talk is a necessary part of networking，” he says. Actually every conversation begins and ends with small talk, according to Wolf Lasko, who has written a book on the topic and its bearing on career futures.
Not everyone is good at small talk. It takes skill to pick the right moment and the right topic with which to start a conversation. There are plenty of topics although some are not suitable for informal chat. Safe topics include holidays, the movies, music or sports. Besides, body language is part of small talk; it's not a good idea to stand around with arms folded.
Small talk is a question of closeness and distance. For a few employees, it's never a bad idea to hold back at the beginning and familiarize themselves with the company culture first.

BTB CITY BUSES are usually orange, and operate from 6：30.There are 4 kinds of tickets you can use.

I arrived at my mother's home for our Monday family dinner. The smells of food flew over from the kitchen. Mother was pulling out quilt (被子) after quilt from the boxes, proudly showing me their beauties. She was preparing for a quilt show at the Elmhurst Church. When we began to fold and put them back into the boxes, I noticed something at the bottom of one box. I pulled it out. “What is this？” I asked.
