2、中生的英语报刊或杂志,除教材外,课外阅读量应累计达到23万词以上.为了实现新课标规定的阅读训练目标,教师应结合教科书中的主题补充不同体裁的课外阅读材料,指导学生适量加大课外阅读.对“说”的目标要求是:能根据熟悉的话题,稍做准备后,有条理地做简短的发言,能就一般性话题进行讨论,能根据话题要求与人交流、合作,共同完成任务,能用恰当的语调和节奏表达意图。2、教材分析本单元以Under the sea为话题,旨在通过单元教学,使学生了解海底动植物、海底奇妙景观,以及有关大海的神话故事。阅读(reading)部分,作者以第一人称的口吻,讲述了一个名叫Old Tom的虎鲸的故事,第一个故事讲述Old To

3、m是捕鲸人的好帮手,帮忙捕杀须鲸,第二个故事讲述Old Tom是遇难者的救星,挽救了落水的James。学生阅读此文可以了解人类如何利用鲸捕杀鲸的残酷事实,同时可以从中学到许多描述事物和情景的生动手法,并通过讨论让学生进一步明确:动物世界人类的朋友,我们应该支持关闭捕鲸站并保护鲸.3、学情分析高二学生已经积累了大约3000个课程标准要求的单词、短语和搭配,基本掌握了略读、细读和猜词能阅读方法。但是,学生存在两极分化,阅读技能、语言背景知识、学习策略以及跨文化交际意识和能力存在很大差异,这在一定程度上影响学生的自信心。目标 1. 通过视频观看、图片展示等了解海底世界.2. 通过快速阅读和详细阅读提
