第1课时
教学内容
Part 1
教学目标
能听懂、理解fly a kite, ride a horse, listen to music, collect shells, ride a jet-ski；能认读以上短语并描述图片，能够按照课本要求正确连线。
教学重点
使学生学会认读表示各种户外活动的单词以及短语fish, fly a kite, ride a horse, listen to music, collect shells, ride a jet-ski. 掌握重点语法：现在进行时态。Someone is flying a kite/ riding on horses/ listening to music/ collecting shells/ riding a jet-ski.
教学难点
学生能通过听音获取正确的信息；能理解fly a kite, ride a horse, listen to music, collect shells, ride a jet-ski, play football, swim in the sea等表示的相对应的活动，能运用以上短语表达来描述图片内容。

Step 1 Warming up
播放beach fun 视频且询问学生喜欢的沙滩活动，引出这个部分的话题。
Step 2 Revision
回顾之前学过的简单的关于活动的表达方式，如：fishing，playing football等。
Step 3 Look, listen and check the answer
1． 老师呈现课本第38页的图片，并介绍：Today is Children’s day. There is no school today. Lucy and her classmates are on the beach. Look, they are having a good time! 然后引导学生运用所学知识进行描述。
2． 老师播放录音数遍，学生完成连线练习，师生共同核对答案，并结合图片适时学习 fly a kite, ride horse, listen to music, collect shells等相关内容。
Step 4 Act out the conversation in class
1. 老师引导学生采取不同方式朗读句子，如全班读、分组读等。
2. 老师示范按顺序描述图片，引导学生两人一组进行练习（一人指，一人说），再次巩固所学内容，然后老师选取2-3组进行展示并适时给予评价。
Step 5 Summary
老师让学生看黑板上的板书或课件，与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要句型及短语单词。
Step 6 Homework
温习书本图片，熟记关于各种户外活动的表达，小组搭档对话。

教学重点
使学生学会认读表示各种天气类型的单词cloudy, sunny, windy, raining以及提问和描述天气的重点表达What’s the weather like?/ How’s the weather? / It’s fine/ sunny/ cloudy. 了解巩固打电话的表达方式。
教学难点
学生能通过听音获取正确的信息且清楚分辨cloudy, sunny, windy, raining的不同读音及意思。能将描述询问天气的句型What’s the weather like?/ How’s the weather? / It’s fine/ sunny/ cloudy.实际用于生活之中。

Step 1 Warming up
播放视频歌曲How is the weather，谈论当天天气，引起学生对天气描述的兴趣。
Step 2 Revision
简要复习上个课时关于各种活动的表达，将进行活动与需要的天气情况联系起来，转入本课时的主题。
Step 3 Look and read
1． 老师提出问题：Two children are talking. Who are they? 学生带着问题来听录音，找出问题的答案，初步感知对话内容。
2． 学生打开课本到第39页，带着问题Where is Peter? Where is Nancy? 自主阅读对话并找出答案。
3． 老师分别呈现不同天气的图片，如sunny, windy, 让学生再次阅读对话，并在对应的天气图片下标出海南岛和伦敦，并适时学习新句型，如：What’s the weather like…? How’s the weather..? It’s sunny/ windy/ cold/warm.
Step 4 Listen and act out
1. 老师再次播放录音，学生逐句跟读，然后采取不同的方式朗读对话，如全班读、分小组读、两人读等，并适时学习：Have a good time. Go to the beach, 同时强调打电话的表达方式。
2. 老师与一名学生师范打电话谈论度假地点的天气，创编新的对话，然后学生小组活动，选取不同的场景，尝试改编对话。老师选取2-3组展示，并适时给予指导和评价。
Step 5 Listen and number
1. 老师呈现sunny 和 windy的图片，与学生自由交流，复习相关句型：What’s the weather like…? How’s the weather..? It’s sunny/ windy/ cold/ warm.
2. 学生打开课本到第39页，仔细观察图片，并尝试自主学习单词cloudy, raining.
3. 播放录音，引导学生根据关键词给图片标号，并核对答案。
Step 6 Act out in pairs
老师呈现不同天气，引导学生谈论并运用上述所学表达编对话。选取2-3组进行展示，老师适时给予指导和评价。
Step 7 Summary
老师让学生看黑板上的板书或课件，与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要单词、句型及表达。
Step 8 Homework
写出图片表示的英文单词，学生分组进行关于天气的对话练习。

教学内容
Part 4a, Part 4b
教学目标
1. 能听懂、理解故事内容和发展脉络；
2. 能在老师的指导下和图片的提示下听懂、读懂小故事，并完成相关任务；
3. 能了解掌握新的短语或表达，如 go snorkeling, get my mask and flippers等。
教学重点
使学生学会认读和理解一些新的短语及表达如Let’s go snorkeling. I’ll get my mask and flippers. I think it’s blood. The seal is hunt. How is our seal? On the rock.等；理解海豹的小故事内容。
教学难点
学生能通过听录音获取正确的信息；了解小故事的基本发展脉络和时间顺序；一些新的表达的掌握和理解。

Step 1 Warming up
给学生们呈现一些海滩风景和海洋生物的图片，介绍一些海滩海洋的背景知识。
Step 2 Revision
复习上个课时中学到的关于天气的表达。
Step 3 Listen, think and read
1. 老师播放录音，学生通过回答问题What’s the story about? 初步感知故事内容。
2. 学生打开课本，小组分角色朗读图片1-3，通过回答问题What do they see? How is the seal? 了解故事起因。
3. 学生听图片4-9的录音，回答问题：What happens? How is the seal? 了解故事的发展，并适时学习get closer，it’s blood 等。然后再次播放上述部分录音，学生逐句跟读，模仿录音中的语音语调。
4. 学生带着问题 How do they help the seal? How is the seal? 自由朗读图片10-18，了解故事的结局，然后老师播放录音，学生有感情地朗读，老师适时教育学生遇事要冷静机智，想办法解决。
5. 全班采取多种形式朗读故事，如全班读、分角色读等。
Step 4 Listen and number
老师再次播放录音，学生完成4b的按时间顺序排列的练习。
Step 5 Summary
老师让学生看黑板上的板书或课件，与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要句型及短语单词。
Step 6 Homework
熟读小故事，掌握故事脉络及前因后果。

教学目标
1. 能在图片的提示下听懂、理解小短文并了解不同海滩的相关背景知识。
2. 能理解并学唱歌曲Come along to the beach。
教学重点
使学生理解一些表达如Lots of beautiful starfish. Most of the time, the water is too cold. I like swimming in the warm water.等。学习单词 island, starfish, tourist, sand, snorkel, clear等。
教学难点
学生能通过听音获取正确的信息且理解短文内容；掌握一些新单词和表达；比较文中两个不同地区海滩情况；在Come along to the beach歌曲学习中，学习新单词和表达。

Step 1 Warming up
全班讨论本地海滩特点情况（海滩上有什么，海滩上可以做什么），引出本课话题。
Step 2 Revision
引导学生复述上课时学习的海豹的小故事。
Step 3 Look, read and listen
1. 学生打开课本到第42页，自主阅读两段短文，通过回答问题 Who lives on the island in Canada? Who lives in Sanya? 初步了解文章大意。
2. 老师提问: What do you know about the island in Canada? What do you know about Sanya? 引导学生找出两处海滩的相关信息，并适时板书和教授新内容： You cannot swim there very often. There are always many tourists on the beach. 学生进一步理解短文内容。
3. 老师再次播放录音，学生逐句跟读。
Step 4 Act out
学生根据提示或者老师引导复述两篇短文。
Step 5 Listen and sing the song
1. 学生打开课本到第43页，仔细观察图片，通过回答问题 What can we do on the beach? What’s the weather like on the beach? 为学习歌曲做好铺垫。
2. 老师播放录音，学生初步感受歌曲旋律及内容。
3. 老师再次播放录音数遍，学生逐句跟唱歌曲，并适时学习相关内容：Come along, snorkel, have fun in the sun等。
4. 学生再次演唱歌曲，可采用多种形式，如师生对唱、男女对唱、分组对唱等。

老师让学生看黑板上的板书或课件，与学生一起回顾本课所学的重要单词、句型及表达。
Step 7 Homework
用所学表达描述自己了解的海滩情况。（老师可给出特定的海滩图片让学生描述）
