take ……seriously 认真严肃对待……
Why can’t you take anything seriously ? 你怎么对什么都不当回事?
13 When are we leaving and when are we coming back ? 进行时表将来。
14 She can be really stubborn.她有时会很执拗。
15 Once she has made up her mind, nothing can change it. 她一旦下定决心,什么都改变不了。
Once 连词,一旦, 一。。。就。。。引导状语从句,带有条件意味。
16 The air would be hard to breathe=It would be hard to breath the air. 呼吸会很困难。
主语+be +adj,+to do The car is easy to drive. 这车容易驾驶。
17 enter the wide valleys 流入深谷。enter the college 进入大学
18 go like clockwork 进展顺利
19 instead of taking the bus 代替坐汽车
instead of +doing \名词, instead +句子。他们的区别等同于because 与because of 的区别
He didn’t reply.Instead ,he left. 他没有回答,相反他离开了
I read the book instead of watching TV. 我读书代替看电视

=It seemed that she was excited about it.
He seems to have lost his confidence.
My teacher seemed unhappy today.
3 She insisted that she organize the trip properly 她坚决主张她合理的安排旅行
Insist 的常见用法 He insisted on going there on foot.
He insisted that he should be invited.
He insisted that he was right.
