三、趣味练习
1.单词快认
教师让一个学生快速出示单词卡片,让其余学生认读单词并说出单词的意思,看哪些学生说得又快又准。
2.制作卡片
教师让学生用空白卡片制作各自的词卡,一面写中文,一面写英文。
3.单词大比拼
教师让学生将词卡打乱顺序,汉语面向上,两人轮流认卡。让学生看汉语说英语,拼读单词;如果拼对了,则得回这张卡,如果读错或者拼错,该卡则归对方所有。最后卡片多的学生胜出。
四、课堂评价
评价学生是否能听说、认读、书写本节课所学的描述性词汇,并能够灵活运用它们来描述人物及事物。

三、趣味练习
1.听一听,圈一圈
教师让学生看课本上三幅图及三个城市名后的符号,让学生听录音并将描述这些城市的形容词分别用圆形,三角形和正方形标出来,录音共播放三遍。
2.问一问,猜一猜
教师让一个学生准备一张旅游照片或城市图片,用一句话介绍照片中的城市,让学生直接猜问。其他学生缩小范围。直到猜中这个城市时,才能给大家展示该图片。
3.学一学,唱一唱
教师播放歌曲,让学生看图并欣赏歌曲,然后教师和学生一起读歌词,读完后,教师解释歌词难点及歌词大意。
四、课堂评价
评价学生是否能运用A部分所学的语言描述旅游经历和城市特点,评价学生是否能掌握一般过去时态的基本用法并熟练运用。

Jim ran to school this morning.

教师引导学生看图,复习并熟悉动词短语:

教师让学生人一组看图编对话。如:

教师让学生看Look, read and complete部分,要求学生根据图画提示写单词完成日记。
教师介绍日记格式:日记顶端靠左边写星期,靠右边写日期(英语日期的顺序是月/日,年或日/月,年),然后另起一行写正文。
三、趣味练习
1.涂一涂,说一说
本部分针对Talk with a friend部分而设计。
教师告诉学生用所列单词谈论周末活动,然后和同桌仿照例句编对话。
2.过去时态大比拼
本部分针对Look and talk部分而设计。
教师先让学生看图并读所给的词汇,弄明白游戏规则及这些动词短语的意思,然后把学生分成两组,每组成员轮流用动词过去式说句子,说对一句画一个笑脸,说错或弃权不计分,最后笑脸多的组为胜。
3.学唱歌谣
本部分针对Let’s chant部分而设计。
教师播放录音,让学生听歌谣。然后教师和学生一起读歌词,教师解释歌词大意。
教师再放录音,让学生跟着说歌谣。
最后,学生小组比赛,看哪个组吟唱得最好。
四、课堂评价
评价学生是否能运用所学的语句,正确的描述过去发生的事情。
五、课外活动
1.要求学生编一段对话,谈论上个周末的活动,要包含一般过去时态的各种句子类型。
2.要求学生写一篇日记,记录他们自己或者朋友的生日聚会。

三、趣味练习
1.看图回答
教师让学生两人一组看着Lister and number.部分的图画,自由问答。如:
S1: What did the boy eat?
S2: He ate a sandwich.
S1: Did he eat a hot dog?
S2: No, he didn’t. He ate a sandwich.
2.表演猜动作
教师把学生分成几个小组,让每人准备一张小纸条,写上一个动词短语,然后折起来放入一个盒子里,学生S1抽取纸条看过后,交给S2,然后S1表演纸条上的动作,学生S2问其他学生: What did she/he do? 其他学生猜着问: Did he/she write a letter? Did he/she do his/her homework? Did he/she draw? 学生S2一一回答,直到其他学生猜中为止。
3.过去式大比拼
教师让学生两人一组活动,轮流出示本单元出现过的动词卡片,让学生比赛读单词、说过去式并拼写过去式,比一比谁正确拼出的过去式多。
四、课堂评价
评价学生对本单元所学知识是否掌握以及用过去式组织语言的能力是否提高;学生自评对本单元词汇、句型、对话等内容的掌握情况。
五、课外活动
1.要求学生复习本单元词汇及对话。
2.要求学生用一般过去式编一个小故事,讲给父母或同学听,并写在练习本上。
