I. Leading-in
（导入活动）
1. Show the clocks and ask them: -What’s this in English?
-What time is it?/What’s the time?
It’s seven o’clock. / It’s seven ten.
Show the way how to express the time.
( seven o’clock 七点整。seven ten 七点十分。)

问题导入，提高学生的学习兴趣。

II．Presentation
（呈现）
1. Show a clock, ask them to say the time
2. Show the pictures and let them to say what does he do?
If they cannot say, let them say in Chinese. Show the English of the action: get up, run, eat breakfast, go to school, take a shower.
3. Ask: What time do you usually get up?
To the class: What time does he/she get up?
To show the sentences and read.
4. Do the others one by one in the same way.
5. Teach ‘take a shower’ and lead them to guess the time that Rick takes a shower

引导学生对日常生活作息时间的谈论，为下一步的学习铺垫。

III．Listening
（听力）
1. Listen to the tape and match the times with the actions on page 7.
2. Lead in the shower schedule for Jim’s family. Ask them listen to the tape and fill in the blanks in page8 2a.
3. Listen again and complete the shower schedule for Jim’s family.

IV. Practice

1. Ask the students to practice in groups using the target language.
