辨析：when与while 作连词，意思皆为“当……的时候”。
1．When引导时间状语从句时，时态用一般现在时或一般过去时。When多指时间上的某一点。

2．While引导时间状语从句时，时态进行时。While常指一段时间，while还有“在……的同时”“一边……一边”之意。
eg.He was doing his homework while his father was reading a book yesterday.

What are you going to do when you grow up?你长大以后打算做什么？
1.“be going to+动词原形”构成一般将来时态，表示即将、将要、打算做某事。其中的be要根据句子的主语来确定。一般将来时常与表示将来时间状语如tomorrow,next week,next Sunday等连用。
eg. He is going to visit his friend next Sunday. 下星期天他打算去看望他的朋友。
I am going to be a doctor when I grow up.长大了我打算当一名医生。
Be going to结构除了后跟动词原形外还可以直接跟表地点的名词。
eg. Li lei is going to the Great Wall tomorrow .李磊打算明天去长城。
I am going to school tomorrow .我打算明天去上学。
2.when 在该句中是连词，意为“当……的时候”，用来引导一个时间状语从句。
eg. I am going to give her a present when she comes.
