Unit 1 Will people have robots?Section B 1a-2c 本课时学习目标或学习任务 1.      Learn to use the simple future tense to describe your plan or arrangements 2.      Review the comparative forms. 本课时重点难点或学习建议 3.      Keywords: space ,fly, took ,moon, across from 4.      Key sentences: Actually it’s kind of boring. I’ll fly to the moon. 本课时教学资源的使用 The teaching and learning guide and the media player 教   学  过  程 学习要求或学法指导 教师二次备课栏 Step 1, Greetings and revision 1.       greet the students. 2.       Group activity:  Students’ performances    Ask two or three groups to act out their conversations. T: Judge whether they’re good or better. Then ask two or three students to talk about themselves about their past, nowadays and future. Ask the Ss to discuss their  past, nowadays and future in their groups. A teaches D.     B teaches C. Make sure C<D can describe themselves in simple sentences. Step 2 Presentation Leading- in: Everyone has a dream. What’s your dream?   What do you want to be in the future ?   Where do you want to live when you grow up? Ask the Ss to read 1a in groups. A and B must let C<D know the meaning of the words    通过学生对话复习过往重要语言点及语法并通过活动进一步激励学生   组内讨论,互助互学,体现田字格帮扶作用      and help them to fill in the table.( Group activity) Make sure all the members agree to the same answers and know why. Teacher activity: Walk around to see if all the Ss join in the activity. Ask two or three groups to share their answers with the class. Groups PK. Try to think of more words about jobs ,transportations, places to live Once a group gives the answer, the others shouldn’t repeat. Three Ss write down the answers on the Bb. Finish 1b. Step 3 Listening       Ss have got ready for the listening.        2a can be finished quickly. Number the pictures. Discuss the answers in groups .Keys:231 Listen again and finish the task in the learning guide . P7  Listening 1 and 2.Discuss the answers in groups.  Listen to 2b again and choose the words to fill in the blanks. -----Ss’ activity Discuss the answers in groups and make sure C>D learn to read the sentences in 2b. Make the Ss point out the key words and phrases. 1.      fly rockets to the moon 2.      took the train to school 3.      live on a space station 4.      will be All the group members should write down the key phrases.The group leader should make sure the others know all the key language points in this part. Step 4 Practice and consolidation    2c According to 2b ,use the questions to talk about Joe’s life now ,ten years ago, and ten years from now.  Tips:       What do you want to be?       Where will you live?       How did you go to school? Each member should make conversations with others. If time permits, ask two or three groups to show before the class. Step 5 Homework Make up a conversation and write it down. Preview section 3a ~4.
