Starter Unit 2 What’s this in English 一、教学目标: 知识与技能: 1、掌握基本的实物单词,以及这节课的重要句型What’s this in English? 2、复习英语字母Ii-Rr,能够规范的书写这几个字母。 过程与方法: 1、通过所学句型,熟悉周围事物的名称。 2、通过游戏和比赛熟练辨认Ii到Rr这几个字母。 情感态度价值观: 教师帮助学生树立切合他们实际的目标,通过逐渐学习和一点一滴的进步,让学生有成功感,增强自信心。通过游戏的比赛,树立竞争意识。 二、教学重点与难点: 1、本节课的实物单词和句型What’s this/that in English? 2、熟练辨认和书写Ii到Rr这几个字母。 三、教学准备: 1、多媒体课件。 2、录音机。 教学过程 学生活动 设计意图 Step 1:Lead—in 1.Have ready a map,an orange,a ruler,a pen,a key, a quilt.Use these to ask students:What’s this in English? 2.Get them to answer the question one by one.Then ask them to listen and number the words they hear. 3.After they finish 1a,make sure they read the words correctly.And ask students to write the words down in small letters. Step 2:Pairwork Do the contents list on the book.Then play a guess game.The teacher should get ready a soft bag,and some objects such as a ruler,a pen,a key,an orange and so on.First show all the things to students,then hide all of them in the teacher’s desk,put one into the bag,try not to let students see it.At last get students to guess what’s in your bag.The teacher can ask the student: T:What’s this in English? A:Is it a book? T:N0,it isn’t. A:Is it a pen? T:Yes,it is. If the student Succeed.congratulate to him or her.Then do the same to another one. This game can also be played in small groups if you have enough materials. Step3 Practice Look for the small letters in the picture for these big letters. Check (√) the ones you found Step 4 Listen and read Have the students listen to the tape and repeat. Get the students to listen to the tape and repeat,ask them to try to find what is the connection between the words. Step5 practice Practice the conversation in the picture with your partner. Then make your own conversation. Step6 Revision Review the important phrases of last class .e.g1)A: Good…… B: Good …….. , ... 2)A: How are you? B: I’m fine, thanks. How are you?/And you? A: I’m OK. Step7 Practice Listen to the tape and repeat. Step8 2a 2b Listening (1)Play the recording for the first time. Students listen. (2)Play the recording for the second time. Students listen and number the letters. (3)Play the recording for the third time. Students listen and check their answers. (4)Students read them aloud. I i J j K k L l M m N n O o P p Q q R Step9 2c look and copy 1. Look and copy the following letters. 2. Write the missing big letter or small letter for each pair. 3. Check answers. Step10 2e (1)Show the pictures and students read the letters below each picture. T: What’s it? S: P/NBA/kg (2)Students talk about some more abbreviations they know Step 11 Homework 1. 练习并默写本单元句型。 2. Ii到Rr字母,默写两遍。 看图片,学单词。跟读,然后自己读。 猜词游戏,复习刚才学过的单词。 练习句型What’s this in English? 听录音,完成1b的练习。 两人一组练习,复习这节课的句型和单词。 复习表示问候的句型。 学习字母I到R。 听录音,完成2b。 写字母,注意书写规范。 通过多媒体展示图片,学习单词,比较直观,学生们也感兴趣。 通过游戏的方式,复习新单词,巩固记忆成果。 小组合作,编新的对话。 听力训练,提高听的能力。 两人合作,培养团队合作能力。 复习以前的句型。 通过游戏和比赛,复习英语字母。 练习这几个字母的书写。 板书设计
