Learn some useful words: whether, ugly, lovely, lazy, stupid 2. Review the pattern of“used to do sth.”. 3. Review how to express likes and dislikes: (1) He enjoys eating fruit and vegetables. (2) He doesn’t mind whether they are good or not. (3) I am interested in playing basketball. (4) I am fond of acting./I prefer playing soccer. (5) I hate/don’t like/don’t enjoy it. Ⅱ. Teaching aids 教具 单词卡片/小黑板/录音机/挂图/小猪储蓄罐或猪八戒的卡通片 Ⅲ. Five-finger Teaching Plan 五指教学方案 Step 1 Review 第一步 复习(时间:10分钟) 1. (全班一起说唱58页的4,导入本节课,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。) T: Hello, everyone. I am very glad to be with you. Let’s chant on page 58. 2. (用单词卡片复习本话题出现的重点词汇,可设成竞赛形式。) T: Pretty good. We have learned some new words in Section A, B and C. Do you remember them all? Let’s have a competition and see who is the best. (1) (全班回答。) (教师手举单词卡片,让学生看汉语,学生读出英语并拼出单词,速度要快。) Example: (教师举着“收集,搜集”的单词卡片。) Ss: Collect, C-O-L-L-E-C-T. (2) (小组轮流回答。) (全班分四组,方法同上。超过3秒答不上来,其他组的同学便可站起拼读。) (3) (小组抢答。) (方法同上,哪组答得又快又准确,哪组获胜。) 3. (师生对话,由复习兴趣和爱好,过渡到最喜爱的动物的话题,引入1a。) T: Boys and girls, we do our interesting things in our spare time. Everybody has his/her own hobby. Do you want to know your classmates’ hobbies? Ss: Yes, we do. T: Please tell us your hobbies one by one, OK? Ss: OK. (要求学生用自己的话转述前一名同学的兴趣、爱好,然后再说出自己的业余爱好。注意尽量不要重复使用表示喜好的词或短语。) Example: S1: I prefer singing. S2: He/She prefers singing and I like dancing. S3: He/She likes dancing and I love … … T: But my hobby is different from yours. I like animals. I think animals are our best friends. Do you like animals, S1? S1: Yes, I do. T: What animals do you like? S1: Dogs, cats, fishes, birds, pandas, tigers … T: Do you have a pet in your home? S1: Yes. T: What’s your pet? S1: My pet is a dog. T: What’s its name? S1: Its name is Bobby. T: Do you like it? S1: Yes, I like it very much. T: Why do you like it? S1: Because it’s clever and friendly. T: What do you give it to eat? S1: I give it some meat to eat. T: Good. Thank you. S2, do you have a pet? S2: … 4. (出示1a挂图。) T: Here is a picture. What can you see in the picture, S3? S3: I can see a boy and a pig. T: What are they doing? S3: They are running. T: Is the pig his pet? Can you guess? S3: Yes, I think it is. T: Good. Do you know its name? S3: Sorry, I don’t know. T: OK. Let’s listen to the tape and fill in the blanks. (过渡到下一步。) Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈现(时间:8分钟) 1. (让学生听1a录音,填入所缺单词,然后核对答案。如需要,教师可播放两次1a录音。) (板书) take a bath whether have a bath whether … or not (核对答案。) (favorite, Pink, him, behind, enjoys, out, like) 2. (教师再放1a录音,让学生跟读,然后根据原文对小黑板上呈现的内容进行判断。) T: Listen to 1a again and read after it, then mark True(T) or False(F). ( ) 1. Pink is dirty. ( ) 2. Pink likes to have a bath. ( ) 3. The pond is behind the house. ( ) 4. Pink only eats good fruit and vegetables. ( ) 5. Pink walks a lot. (核对答案。) (1.F 2.T 3.T 4.F 5.T) Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 巩固(时间:10分钟) 1. (听1a录音,让学生进行人机对话。) 2. (学生自己朗读课文,并找出关键词。) T: Read 1a by yourselves and find out the key words. (板书) pets, pig, color, clever, clean, bath, fruit and vegetables, mind, good or not, walking, follow 3. (让学生根据关键词复述课文。) T: Retell 1a according to the key words on the blackboard. Step 4 Practice 第四步 练习(时间:10分钟) 1. (师生对话导入1b。) (教师出示小猪储蓄罐或猪八戒的图片,引出1b中出现的新单词。) T: Do you like it? S1: Yes, I like it. T: Why do you like it? S1: Because it’s cute. T: Good. We can also say it’s lovely. 或: T: Do you like him? Ss: Yes. We like him very much. T: Why do you like him? S1: Because he’s funny. T: Good. We can also say he’s lovely. (板书) cute = lovely T: What about your opinion, S2? S2: Oh, I don’t like it because it isn’t beautiful. T: You don’t like it because it’s ugly. (板书) not beautiful = ugly T: And some students think it’s lazy. (板书) lazy T: Do you think it is clever? Ss: No, it isn’t clever. T: You think it is stupid. (板书) stupid T: Good. Do you have pets at home? Ss: Yes. T: OK, look at 1b. Please talk about your pets in groups, using the words in the box. After two minutes, some groups will give a report. 2. (学生用1b的内容进行分组讨论,完成1b。) (两分钟后挑几组汇报讨论结果。) 3. (教师播放3a, 3b录音,学生跟读,然后全班齐声朗读。) T: Well done. Let’s listen to the tape again and repeat, then read it together. 4. (听写3a,3b的内容。) T: Let’s have a dictation about 3a and 3b. Step 5 Project 第五步 综合探究活动(时间:7分钟) 1. (让学生根据2中的问题,以My Hobbies为题,写一篇短文,完成2。) T: In this topic, we have talked about interests and hobbies. And we have learned how to express likes and dislikes. Write a passage about your hobbies. You’d better use the words and phrases such as “used to do sth.”, “like”, “be interested in” … 2. (1)(分组调查任课教师的兴趣和爱好。完成4中的表格。) Name In the past Now Reason 3. Homework: (1)归纳总结本话题所学的知识点。 (2)收集音乐方面的知识,为下个话题的学习做准备。 板书设计: What hobbies did you use to have?
