T: Do you like music? As we know music can bring us the joy of the heart and music is a kind of language that can be understood by the people all over the world .but ,Do you know which song is the most popular in the world at present ?Do you know ?If you don’t know ,please enjoy the MV together. OK?(Play the MV)
T: Do you know the name of the song ?It’s a pop song called “Gangnam Style “and now all the people start to dance to the song .Do you know why the song is so popular ?Because the song is very easy to learn and it’s very relaxing .I love the music because we can dance easily to the music .Now .Today We are going to have a new lesson .Unit 6. I like music that I can dance to.

(1)Explain the structure of the relative clause .
(2)Play kinds of music .Learn ,rock music ,classical music .light music and country music
(3) Let students read 1a
(4)Explain prefer =like …better to the students .
(5)Get the students to answer the questions one by one .Set off a chain drill .
Write any new words or phrases on the blackboard to help them if necessary .

T: Say .We’ll hear Tony and Betty talking about the kinds of music each one likes. Tell them to tick (√) the right statements while they are listening .Read the three headings before playing the tape .
Play the tape the first time and students only listen .check the answers

Read the structures to students and make sure that they know what to do .Go over the four items in the box with the children ,Tell them that a relative clause with who is used to introduce a person .Ask the students to circle T for true and F for false .Check the answers .

Let the students have a look at the chart Read the model sentences to them .Listen carefully ,and find out what Carmen and Xu Fei say and complete the sentences in the chart .Check the answers .

Let the students read the sentences in 2b and tell the sentence structure .then lead the students to think in which situation we can use that \who .If the students can’t tell .Teacher gives them help. Let the students to read the new words and the new sentence structures . Sum up the usage of the Attributive Clauses.
