Step 1: Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2: Sentence patterns
The teacher tries making up some sentence patterns, using the key words:

Help the students follow these sentences. Encourage them try to memorize these useful phrases in class.
Step 3: Work on 2b-2c Reading
1. Ask a student to read the passage aloud.
2. Ask the students to answer the quesitions.
3. Where are the items mentioned in the passage in the picture?
4. Have the students draw the items mentioned in the passage and in the picture.
5. Compare the passage with the picture to see if these things are in the right position.
6. All the students read the note aloud again.
7. Finish the exercise in 2c.
Step 4: Creative work
What would students like to have in their own rooms? Name some daily things in class.
Make a list of the vocabulary words from this lesson.
Draw a picture of the room they would like.
Describe their ideal rooms to the class.
Step 5: Creative work
Ask the students to finish the tasks in 3a-3b.
Step 6: Summary
Guide the students to see what they have learned in this class and encourage them to memorize more useful expressions on the blackboard.

本节课主要是通过让学生写单词,写句型进一步巩固位置表达法的句型,另外又设置了Decorate the room for Emma环节,这一环节充分调动了学生的积极性,进一步强化了所学句型,又培养了学生爱干净的习惯。
