Review: Translate the phrases in Unit 2 into English.
Step 1
Present some sentences with adverbial clauses. Ask Ss to read and think.
Step 2
Present more sentences with adverbial clauses.
Step 3
Introduce the concept of Adverb Clauses of Time.
Step 4
Explain the use of when and while by giving examples. Make Ss understand the differences between them.
Step 5
Explain the use of before, after, as soon as, since, until.
Step 6
Complete the sentences in Activity 1.
Step 7
Do more exercise.
Step 8
Exercise from Senior High School Entrance Examination.

Ask Ss to talk about their holiday plans, giving some phrases.

Read the table in Activity 7 and first get familiar with the information.
