Lesson 8 Danny’s Favourite Colour
【教学目标】
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇:paint,mix,purple,out,sky。
2.让学生了解如何询问对方所喜欢的东西。
3.让学生了解如何对一般疑问句和特殊疑问句进行回答。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些与询问对方喜好有关的重点词汇:like,favourite,right。
2.激发学生兴趣,让他们询问家人或朋友所喜欢的东西。
3.掌握以下重点句子:
①Do you want to paint with me?
②How about blue?
③Is yellow / green your favourite colour?
④That’s right!

一、创设情境,切入主题
Step 1:Lead-in
Lead-in by discussing the following questions:
1.What is Jenny doing?
2.Does Danny like red?
3.How can Danny make green?
Show some pictures of Danny and Jenny to the class.Let the students discuss the questions in groups,and then present their results in front of the class.The styles can be dialogues or reports.
二、展开过程,探究新知
Step 2:Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the words you hear:
1.Jenny wants Danny to________with her.
2.Danny doesn’t like________.
3.________is Danny’s favourite colour.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3:Reading
Read the dialogue and answer the following questions:
1.How does Danny like blue?
2.Does Danny like yellow?
3.Who can make green,Jenny or Danny?
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 4:Practice
Make sentences with the language points:
1.want to
S1:Danny,I want to play with you.

S2:This ruler is too short.How about that one?

Step 5:Activities
Introduce your favourite colour.Work in groups.At the same time,the teacher can walk around the classroom to see if they have any questions.
Discuss for a while,and then let some students come to the front to show their introductions.
Step 6:Come to“Let’s Do It!”
Read the lesson again,and ask the students to do exercises.Listen to the tape,and finish Exercises 1—2 together in class.
三、布置作业
1.Finish Exercises 3—4 in“Let’s Do It!”.
2.Write a short passage to tell your favourite colour.
