Lesson 10 Clothes for a Cold Day
【教学目标】
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇:catch,ready,T-shirt,jacket,forget,hat,so,bright。
2.让学生了解更多表示服装的词汇。
3.让学生了解有关下雨天的穿着。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些表示服装的词汇:T-shirt,shorts,jacket,pants。
2.激发学生兴趣,让学生学会介绍自己在雨天的穿着。
3.掌握以下重点句子:
①Danny is ready for school.
②You can’t wear a T-shirt and shorts.
③I look nice in this green T-shirt.
④It’s raining.You may catch a cold.
⑤Your jacket doesn’t go well with your shorts.
⑥I don’t like to wear pants.
⑦Don’t forget your umbrella.

一、创设情境,切入主题
Step 1:Lead-in
Lead-in by discussing the following question:
What do you wear on a cold rainy day?
Discuss the question in groups for three minutes.Then let some students present their answers in front of the class.
二、展开过程,探究新知
Step 2:Listening
Listen to the tape and know about the main points of the dialogue.At the same time,fill in the blanks with the words you hear:
1.Danny wants to wear his T-shirt and________.
2.Danny’s umbrella is in his________.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3:Reading
Read the lesson and answer the following questions:
1.How is the weather?
2.What doesn’t Danny like to wear?
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 4:Practice
Ask the students to make up dialogues to introduce clothes for a cold day by themselves.
Work in groups to finish the task.Practice for a while,and then let some groups present their dialogues in front of the class.
When the students are preparing,the teacher can walk around the classroom to solve the problems that probably happen.
Step 5:Come to“Let’s Do It!”
Listen to the tape,and finish Exercise 1 together.Read the lesson again and finish Exercise 2.
Ask the students to finish Exercise 3 by themselves.
三、布置作业
Finish Exercise 4 in “Let’s Do It!”.
