TOPIC 1 What's your hobby?

教学目标:
1熟练掌握本课所学核心单词、词汇,并能灵活运用所学句式。
需要掌握的单词:difficult, neck, swimming, swimming pool, reason,scrapbook.
需要掌握的句子:Why do you like …? Because…
2.帮助学生在日常生活中能够使用所学单词和句式,让学生学会表达自我喜好并能说明原因。
教学重点及难点:
1.教学重点是激发学生学习热情,并激发学生的爱国情感,让他们更多的去了解世界。
2.教学难点是掌握句式“ Why… Because…”并能灵活使用本课所学知识表达自身情感。
课前准备:
录音机、卡片、玩具、多媒体设备
教学设计:
Step 1 热身与复习(Warm up and preview)
自由讨论:你最喜欢做的事情是……?
复习各种爱好的说法。
Step 2 展示新课(Presentation)
1. 引入单词“剪贴薄”scrapbook 和“爱好”hobby
猜谜语(Guessing the riddles)
A. It is a suitable activity in any time.
B. It needs collection.
Children always can do this thing.
Answers: scrapbook
Help students to learn these new words.
2.介绍scrapbook
T: Do you know scrapbook?
Who can scraped very well?
(several students can do this)
I loves do those things.
Help students to learn“hobby” .
( Help the students to find the different between“hobby”and“hobbies”)
3. 引入句式“Why… because…”
(1) Show a picture of some scrapbooks.
T: What do you know about hobby?
Ss…
T shows some pictures of different hobbies and introduce. (scrapbook, swimming, swim, swimmer, swimming athlete and so on)
T: I like swimming.
Do you like swimming? Why?
Help the students to say“I like swimming. Because…”
Practice in groups.
(2) Ask some students to say“I like … Because…”
Help other students to ask“Why do you like…?”
Ask and answer in pairs.
Step 3 练习(Practice)
There are many other kinds of things that students love.
(Show some pictures related exercise)
What do you like? Why?
Make a short dialog with your partner.
Step 4 小结(Summary)
Help students to recall the knowledge we have learned in this class.
Step 5 家庭作业(Homework)
查找关于缝纫的资料,谈谈为什么孩子们喜欢剪贴薄。
单词抄写3遍。
用新学的单词或句型造句。
写一篇关于自己hobby的文章。
