Teaching aids: some flashcards, tape recorder, video Teaching procedures: Step 1. Organization of the class Class, today I have an apple. It tastes sweet. And what do you have for breakfast? What do you feel? Let the students discuss and say their answers. Step 2. Free talk 1. What’s your father like? 2. Do your shoes feel tight? 3. Who is pretty in your class? Step 3. Look at the video Match the sentences with the pictures. 1. Let the students look at the video. 2. Give them a few minutes to match the sentences with the pictures. (1) These shoes feel tight. Organization of the class Boys and girls, we have learned the language points of this module. In this unit, we will review them. Step 2. Let the students look at the video, read the sentences of “Language practice” (P60) That smells delicious. It tastes too strong. It doesn’t smell fresh. It feels very soft and comfortable. She sounds really nice. And she looks very pretty. Step 3. Show some pictures cards and ask them what they like and don’t like. Why? 1. The teacher shows the pictures cards and ask what they like and don’t like. 2. Ask the students to write down the sentences, then check the answers with the partner. 3. Ask the students to call out their answers to the other students. Step 4. Let the students look at the video Complete the sentences (P60, Part 2). 1. Look at the video and pictures. 2. (2) your teachers (3) your neighbour (4) your best friend 3. Read the dialogue in pairs. Modal: A: What does your dad look like? B: He’s tall and handsome. A: What’s your dad like? B: He’s friendly. Step 7. Complete the conversation 1. Let the students look at the video. Read the conversation. 2. Give them a few minutes to finish it. 3. Read in pairs and check the answers.
