1、Module 9 Population一、 题材内容本模块以人口为话题,重点探讨城市化进程当中人口聚集带来的问题,并对城市生活和乡村生活各自利弊进行了简要对比。对于中国这样一个人口基数大,增长速度快的人口大国,在发展经济的过程中不能不关注人口问题造成的影响。因此,在中学英语教学中提出关注人口,关注城市化进程所面临的问题的思路对青少年的成长是具有现实意义的。二、 教学目标1) 语言知识:词汇noise, prepare, report, huge, increase, problem, birth, billion, grow, flat, rubbish, quite, local, poll
2、ution, public, service, solve词组too much, close down, all over the world, in the future, not any more语法冠词a, an, the 的使用。功能根据相关人口信息制作图表。话题能够就城市人口增长过快引发的问题简单地展开讨论;简要地比较城市生活的乡村生活的利弊。2) 语言技能:听能够听懂城市发展过程中面临问题的简单对话,提高学生的实际应用能力。说流利的说出含有本模块生词、短语;熟练掌握数字的发音规则;能够就城市进程中面临的人口,资源的问题展开简单对话。读能读懂人口急速增长给城市,环境带来的问题的相关文
3、章。写1. 能够运用本模块的生词和短语写出有关环境问题方面的句子。2. 能够区分冠词a, an, the的用法,并在书写句子的时候灵活使用。3. 比较熟练地根据人口信息制作相关图表。演示与表达面向全班同学做有关人口增长过快带来的环境问题的介绍;比较城市生活和乡村生活。3)学习策略学习一定程度形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。认知联系,归纳,推测等技能。调控从同伴处得到反馈,对自己在叙述及作文中的错误进行修改。交际学习运用恰当词语展开城市人口问题的讨论。资源通过其他资源获取更多介绍城市人口信息。自学策略培养话题和词汇的语言域意识,形成话题联想的习惯。合作学习策略掌握询问和澄清策略。
