一. 教学内容：
英语单选题

英语单选题是历年中考的必考题型，它既考查了考生的交际能力，也考查了考生实际运用知识的能力。这种题型的内容广泛，包含日常交际用语和语法知识，且题目较活，所以有许多考生得分不高。但是，如果考生掌握了一定的解题技巧，还是可以取得好成绩的。
下面我简单的谈一下这类题型及做题技巧

一. 情景交际单选题
该类题目属于“语言功能”考核项目，能较全面地考查考生交际能力的正确性和适宜性，并测试考生对英语国家的社会文化背景的了解。在解答这类题目时，一定要符合英语习惯，切忌按中文思维方式解题。当对方要求得到帮助，提出请求、建议或邀请时，回答不能过于直接，要委婉，才符合英语国家的交际习惯。“请求建议”方面的问话有May I…? /Can I…? /I wonder if I could…/Do you mind if I…? ，“Why not…” 等，“邀请”方面的问话有Will you…? /Would you like to…? /I’d like to invite to…等。在作否定回答时，为了表示礼貌和委婉，通常要用一些委婉词，如but, I’m afraid, I’m sorry, thanks, please, had better等。另外，还要注意不能答非所问。请看下面的例子：
【典型例题】
1. ——I believe it will rain tomorrow.

【解析】以Do you think /believe…? 这样的句子提问，答语应为I don’t think so/I believe not, 或者为I think so / I believe so. 而这种否定是不符合中文的表达习惯的，所以学生容易错选, 正确答案为C。

【典型例题】
2. ——Why don’t you join us in playing cards? —— ____.

【解析】很明显此题题干的问句含有邀请建议之意，所以答语要委婉。A为正确答案，B、C过于直接，D项明显错误。

【解析】该题考查be like, 在该句中What’s she like? 的意思是问她人怎么样, 而不是“喜欢，像”的意思, 尽管A, B, C三项中均有like, 但意思不相配, 实为答非所问, 所以该题正确答案为D。

二. 知识能力单选题
此类单选题主要考查某些词和词组的搭配以及固定句型，也包含某些特殊的语法项目，做这类题也要掌握一定的技巧。
㈠捕捉标志性词汇，寻找解题突破口。

【解析】此题考点是make用作使役动词，make somebody do something，正确答案为A。
2. My uncle enjoys _______ TV after supper.
A. watching B. watches C. watch D. to watch
【解析】此题陷阱选项为B和D。这是由于知识错误引起的。一些考生把这里的watch当作谓语动词就误选为B。很多考生误认为enjoy后面要接动词不定式就选了D。其实，enjoy后面接动词时要用其-ing形式。这样的动词还有finish, mind, practise, feel like, keep, look forward to等等。正确答案为A。

㈡巧妙运用还原法，把妖怪打回原形。如果题目中出现了疑问句，感叹句，倒装句等句式，在做题时最好将其还原为陈述句，可大大降低错误率。

【解析】此题是对adj. 进行感叹，句型为How + adj. /adv. ＋主＋谓／系动词，而对于名词则用what＋名词，此题答案是B

㈢巧用标点符号，英语中的标点符号往往给考生一定的提示. 因此，做题时一定要留意句中的标点，它能帮助你准确判断句子结构，作出正确选择.

【解析】英语中的破折号是用来连接两个完整句子的. 从这一点入手很快就可排除A 和Ｃ这两个强干扰项，该题考查的是祈使句，所以选择Ｂ. 总之, 考生只要基础知识扎实, 再加上一定的解题技巧, 一定能取得好成绩.

接下来我给大家讲几种解题方法
1. 直接法
根据语感立即确定答案。有些单选题，简单易懂，仅仅考查语言点，考生往往凭已掌握的知识和语感就能够直接选出正确答案。

【解析】本题考查冠词的用法，根据词组“ play basketball ”，中间无冠词，直接选答案 D。
2. 关键词法
许多题目都有一些关键词，它们对于快速而准确地判断出答案起着至关重要的作用。找到句中的关键词，也就找到了解题的突破口。

——Is Wei Fang good at singing?

【解析】此题根据感官动词 hear 的用法，先排除 A、B 两个选项，再根据关键词 often，说明经常听见她在隔壁房间里唱歌，即用 hear sb. do sth. ，故选 C.
3. 排除法来
在对四个选项难以确定的情况下，考生可以采取逐个排除法，把没有被排除的答案定为正确答案。

4. 比较法
有些单选题不能很快确定答案，必须对其时态、语态及同义词等进行比较，最后选出答案。

【解析】此题根据上文“ If I don’t go ”的否定形式，确定引导词应该是 neither ，先排除 A、B 项，再根据主句用一般将来时，if 引导的条件状语从句用一般现在时表示，比较 C、D 两个选项，正确答案应为 C.
5. 逻辑推理法
有些题目的选项，从语法上判断答案不止一个，这时可以通过逻辑推理的方法得出正确答案。
【典型例题】

【解析】a little 和 little 都不能修饰 people ，所以只剩下A、B项。a few 和 few 都可修饰 people ，此题的意思是：“因为时间晚了，所以街上几乎没有人。”若选 A ，不合逻辑，所以，只有 B 是正确的。
6. 固定搭配判断法
有的单选题应根据固定搭配和习惯用语选出正确答案。
【典型例题】

【解析】答案为 B. at the same time 译为“在同时”，是固定词组。
7. 综合法
有的单选题涉及到数学、理化、地理、天文、生活习俗等方面的知识。解答此类单选题时宜采用综合法，注意语言知识的连贯性和各种知识的综合性。
