第三课时
一、分析（Analysis）
（一）地位（Position）
1 本单元的36页还涉及到室内描述，运用介词beside, near, next to, in front of, opposite，between等，在8B教材中也有相关内容，学生应在本课中熟练掌握运用这些介词的用法。
（二）目标（Target）
1 运用特殊疑问词来提问。
2 运用介词表达方位，如opposite, between, near 等。
（三）重点（Points）

2 功能：
Showing the directions(表达方位):
l Put it near the kitchen.
l Put the cupboard next to it.

l Put the armchairs near the sofa and the small table in front of the sofa.

本课中运用介词表达方位的句型，为重点。

二、教学设计（Teaching Designs）
教学内容：课本36-37页
教学实施建议：
这一部分和上一部分的处理很类似，因为都是对话。所不同的是重点转移到运用介词表达方位。教师可以利用播放录音并设置问题让学生熟悉对话内容并引出介词。然后利用一些图片来操练介词。

说明：
这一部分主要提供一些根据36页对话所设置的一些帮助熟悉课文内容的问题，以及操练介词所需要的一些图片。
1 教师播放录音，并用大屏幕列出设置的问题：
l --Where do they put the table and the cupboard?
--They will put the table ________ the kitchen and the cupboard _______ _______ it. (答案为 near, next to)
l --What about the sofa and TV?
--They will put the sofa ______ the big window and the TV ______ the sofa.
(答案为 near, opposite)
l --Where do they put the rug and the small table?
--They put the rug ______ the sofa and the TV on the floor. Then put the small table __________ the sofa. (答案为between, in front of)
2 利用课本36页提供的图片，提问学生“Have the removal man put the furniture in the right place?”提问和回答句型如下：
-- Where has the removal man put the …?
-- They’ve put it/ them …
--Where does Mrs. Li want it/ them?
--She wants it/ them …
3 利用课本36页所提供的图片，描述他和the Lis 一家的公寓。
4 利用教师提供的图片，运用介词表达室内家具所在的位置。句型如下：
--Where is the sofa/ TV/ armchair…?
--It’s next to/ between/ opposite/ the …
