教学目的:
To know the way to express strong feeling about sth/someone.
To understand the differences between the structure ‘what-’ and ‘how-’
To form an exclamatory sentence correctly
教学过程
1. Ask Ss that how can we express our strong feeling about sth, for example: 多么漂亮的花园啊!If Ss can’t say that,tell them that we can use an exclamatory sentence to do it in English.
2. Get Ss to look at Part A(p62) and go through it . Try to find out what the structures of exclamations are.
3. Ask Ss to give some examples. If they can’t , put forward to the structures directly.
a. what + a/an + adi + n( C&S ) + s + v
b.what -------------- + adi + n( UC&P ) + s + v
c. how + adi + s + v
eg) What an interesting book it is!
What cool glasses they are !
What delicious bread it is !
What a clever boy he is !
How interesting the book is !
How cool the glasses are!
How delicious the bread is !
How clever the boy is !
4. Work out the rules:
We use a noun phrase after ‘what’ to form an exclamation.
We use an adjective after ‘how’ to form an exclamation
5. Ask Ss to do the exercises on p63 with the structures, and pay attention to the language points:
a. what a beautiful flower!
b. How nice!
c. The funny world museum
d. What beautiful frogs!
e. They are poisonous
f. enough poison
g. kill about 2,200 people
h. what a strange bird
i. a baby panda
j. only 100 grams at birth
k. the most dangerous animal
6. Ask Ss to do more exercises in class to consolidate this grammar point.

3.To do the exercises correctly with the possessive case of nouns
教学过程
1. Ask Ss a question that we can use the possessive adjectives and pronouns to show something belongs to someone, but when we express that something is someone’s , how to do it.
2. Give more examples to explit the topic of the part:
Is this books yours?
No, it’s Li Hua’s.
Is this pen hers?
No, it’s Ying Shudong’s.
Is this desk yours?
Yes, it’s Yu Xiaodan’s.
3. Put forward to the rule and the summary of the possessive case of nouns.
Rule:
We add ’s to a singular noun to show that something belongs to someone.
We add ’ to a plural noun ending in ‘s’.
Summary:
一般在名词词尾加’s或加’,通常指有生命名词的所有格。如
This is my father’s book.
These are boys’ T-shirt.
表示时间的名词也可以用’s表示“的”如:
Did you read yesterday’s newspaper.
如果表示某人或某物为两人所共有,则在第二个人后面加’s,如
This is Lily and Lucy’s desk.
如果表示不是两人共有,则在各人后面加’s 如
The two boys are Jim’s and Kate’s brothers.
无生命名词的所有关系用of 表示如
Look at the picture of my family’s.
of 结构也用于有生命名词的所有格如
Mr Smith is a good friend of my father’s.
4. Ask Ss to translate the following words with the possessive case of nouns.
李先生的自行车

5. Get Ss to do the exercises on page 65
6. Ask Ss to finish the class exercising paper and check the answers
