Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Lead in and 1a
Show the pictures of the parks and let the students say their names.(在此过程中，可教授一些新单词)

Step 3 1b-1c
Ask the students to go through the pictures and say which they are most interested in.
Then let the students go through the tasks in 1b.
Play the tape for the first time and let them fill in the chart.
Play the tape for the second time and answer some questions：
When did Sarah go to the National Science Museum?
Has Sarah been to a history museum?
What does Claudia say about history?
Play the tape for the third time and let the students read after the tape.
Practice the conversation after the model in 1c.
Step 4 Listening and pair work
Let the students go through the pictures in 2a and try to say their locations.
Play the tape for the first time and circle the places they hear.

Play the tape for the second time and try to decide true of false.
Play the tape for the third time and check the answers.
Encourage the students to make new conversations according to the conversation in 2c

Step 5 Role-play the conversation
Firs show the students some questions and try to answer the questions.

The students read and answer the questions.
The students listen to the tape and role-play the conversation.
Read the conversation aloud.
Then let a few pairs act out the conversation.
Step 6 Homework
Practice the conversation in 2c.
