Unit 6 Could you please tell me where the restrooms are? Period One 一、教学内容:Section A 1a-2d 二、教学目标: 1、知识目标: 词汇:beside 区别besides  central—center   rush- in a rush inexpensive-expensive;   uncrowded--crowded 短语: (1) get some information about the town (2) buy some stamps (3) go to the second floor. (4) star with 句子: (1)There’s a bookstore between the bank and the supermarket. (2)We haven’t even started yet. (3)You don’t need to rush! 2、能力目标:学会委婉的向别人询问,礼貌使用语言。 三、重难点: 重点:1、掌握黑体单词       2、掌握重点短语及句子t 难点:1.学习宾语从句。2.掌握基本的问路句型。 四、教学过程: Step 1:Warming –up 1. 展示场所图片,让学生说出相关的英语单词。 2. 领读单词,学生熟练掌握。 Step 2: lead-in: look at the picture in 1a, answer the following questions: (3’) (1)What place do you see in the picture (2)What are the names of the two streets? (3)What are the people are doing? Step 3: 1. do 1a: Where can you do the things below? Match each thing with a place in the picture. (2’) 2. do 1b: listen and complete the conversations in the picture in 1a.(3’) 3. do 1c:make conversations using the information in 1a. (5’) e.g. A: Excuse me, could you please tell me how to get to the bookstore? B: Sure, just go along Main street until you pass Centre Street. The bookstore is on your right., beside the bank. A: Thanks. Do you know when the bookstore closes today? B: It closes at 7:00 p.m .today. 4. do 2a: listen, number the directions in the order you hear them.(3’) 5. do 2c: make conversations about the other places in 2a. (5’) A: Excuse me, do you know where I can get some postcards? B: Sure. Go to the second floor. There’s a bookstore between the bank and the supermarket. 6. do 2d: role-play the conversation. (5’) (1)ask students to read the conversation. (2)Explain the conversation and underline the points. (3)Student try their best to remember it. Step4: language points(5) (1)get some information about the town (2)buy some stamps (3) go to the second floor. (4) the biggest amusement park (5) star with (6) between …and (7)Excuse me, could you please tell me how to get to the bookstore? (8)We haven’t even started yet. (9)You don’t need to rush! Step 5: students learn by themselves. (10’) Step 6: 让学生划出自己仍有疑问的表达。教师补充点拨。 Step7: Summary Step8: have a test. (3’) 1.Excuse me, could you please tell me ________________(怎样到达书店) 2. There’s a bookstore________ the bank _______ the supermarket.(在…与…之间) 3. The bookstore is on your right, ________the bank.(在…的旁边) Step9: Homework: 1、熟记本节课所学单词 2、背诵本课时的重点短语。
