第二课时 2e-3c Grammar Focus
教学目标
1.Get the students to learn how to ask about the price.
2.Get the students to learn to talk about clothing.

教学步骤
I. Warming- up and revision
Greeting (Say hello between the teacher and the Ss)
Divide the class into Group A and B. Draw two baby birds on the blackboard as their symbols, tell the students that each time they answer questions right, they can get one or more points for their group and draw one or more clouds below their bird, at the end of the class, the group which gets more clouds will be the winner today. Say, “One, two, three!” Get the whole class sit straight, thus announce the beginning of the competition
Show students some pictures of clothing .Have the Ss say the words out as soon as they can.
Review the conversation
T: How much is the green T-shirt?
S: It is eight dollars.
T: How much is the black bag?
S: It is two dollars.
T: How much are the red shorts?
S: They’re nine dollars.
II. Presentation
T: Boys and girls, let’s play a guessing game, “How much is the bag?” OK?
Show the students pictures of some pictures like socks, shoes, hat, etc, let them guess the price of these things by using the following sentences:
I think it is…
They are….?
III. Summary (noun)

IV.Work on 2e
Get the students to look at 2e and listen to the conversation.
(Play the recording for the first time, students only listen.)
Then, listen to the recording again, and ask Ss to repeat. Please try to read like the tape.

T: Now look at the dialogue in the illustration in 3b and make your own conversations in pairs like that using the items of clothing in the pictures in 3b. Make up a dialogue in pairs.

1. Listen and read after the tape for thirty minutes.
2. Recite the second conversation of Section A, 3c.
3. Write down the Chinese meaning of the new words and key sentences, then translate them into English.
