When is Alice’s birthday?
Alice’s意思为___________, 是名词所有格，其用法相当于形容词性物主代词（my, your, his, her, our, their）。它的变化是在名词后加“ ’s ”, 表示某人或某物的所有者（即“谁的”）, 但具体变化有一定规则。
1. 一般在单数名词的词尾加 ’s（常指人或有生命的物）   
 eg.Tom 的书_____________________   Lucy的尺子________________________
2. 以“______”结尾的复数名词只在词的右上方加 ’
eg. 老师们的椅子____________________  女孩们的短裙 ___________________
3. 不以-s结尾的不规则复数名词，仍然在词尾加 ’s.
如： Day 儿童节 clothes 女士服装
4. 当两个或多个人共同拥有一个人或物时，只在最后一个名词后加 ’s。
eg.  Lucy和Lily的妈妈_______________________________
5. 当两个或多个人分别拥有各自的人或物时，分别在每个名词后加 ’s 。
eg   Lucy的和Lily的房间 _______________________________
（另： of所有格一般用于无生命的东西的名词中。例如：  a map of the world ）
