A Good Book is a Good Friend

As a middle school student,many classmates and I have a busy school life every day ,because we have to learn all the subjects and spend most time on them.But I still keep reading many Extracurricular books in my spare time. for example,Childhood,The Records about Insects,The Making of steel ,etc.These books encourage me like good friends.The book Childhood tells me that Maksim Gorky had such a poor childhood.Though his life was very hard,he still worked hard.However I have a happy family nowadays and How beautiful my childhood is!I think I will learn from him and study hard.
Another book,The Records about Insects is an intering book that is different from others. I know about many insects’ life habbits and get a lot of fun from it.
The most moving book among them is The Making of Steel.It is difficult for me to keep quiet.One of the paragraphes:‘Man’s dearest possession is life,and it is given to him to live but once.He must live it so as to feel no torturing regrets for wasted years,.never know the burning shame of a mean and petty past…’The protagonist Pavel korchagin interpreted the meaning of these words in his own behavior.His spirit makes us moved deeply and it is like a bright light in the darkness.It inspires us to work harder on the path of learning.
