Teaching aims and demands:
1．Learn the structure of passive voice with modal verbs.
2．Talk about aliens and the life in space.
3．Encourage students to explore actively and cultivate their positive attitude towards science.
Teaching procedure:
Step1 Sing an English song.<God is a girl>,then ask :What are you going to be when you grow up?(本环节用电子白板视频链接功能,让学生跟唱，创设情景，引入课堂.)
Step2.Review
1.Play a game:Find the past participle of some words.
(本环节利用白板的拖曳功能，让学生上台比赛将圆圈内的动词过去分词移动到正确的原形后.通过这一环节,既复习了旧知识，又营造了学习英语的氛围,也激发了学生的积极性。)
2.Review the structure of passive voice with modal verbs.
（运用拉幕功能，逐一呈现复习内容，有助体现教学的层次感，集中学生的注意力。）
Step3.Presentation
1.Watch the movie E.T
（本环节先使用聚光灯功能让学生看到外星人，激发学生的好奇心，再通过白板的视频链接功能，观看影片，为后面的学习作好了铺垫。）
2.Listen to 2a and answer the questions:
（1）Does Kangkang believe there are aliens?
（2）What does the American scientist think about aliens?
（本环节使用了白板的视频链接功能和答案的隐藏功能，丰富了课堂教学，提高课堂效率。）
3．Group work: Fond out the key points and discuss. Then ask some students to explain.
（本环节采取小组合作的形式，抽一小组到白板上勾出文章重难点，共同讨论后请其中一位同学进行讲解,并利用白板的音频链接的功能，点击左边的红星，让学生跟读课文。通过本环节既突出了学生的主体地位，也激活了课堂。真正将现代先进教育理念落到了实处。）
Step4.Consolidation
1．Listen to the tape and repeat.
2．Read in roles.
（本环节依然利用白板的音频功能，让学生进行人机对话，训练学生英语语感及表达能力。）
Step5.Practice
1. Match the two columns to make sentences.
（本环节依然利用白板的可写可画的功能，从习题库中调出习题，让学生上台在白板上完成习题，学生为了能上台做题，会更加认真地思考，从而提高了课堂练习的效率。）
Step6.Prject
Hold a debate: Do you believe there are aliens? Why？
（利用白板的资源库功能，从资源库里调出一些有关外星人的资料，让学生分组讨论，再进行辩论，这既丰富了课堂内容，同时也刺激学生的创新思维的发展。）
Step7.Homework
Write a passage.
If there are aliens, do you want to make friends with them? Please write a passage to introduce the earth to the aliens.
（本环节中，利用白板的电子笔，抽一组同学上台作文，然后进行评改，圈点之处一目了然，大大提高了课堂效率，也让写作真正落到了实处
