Unit 1 The king’s new clothes
单元教材分析
本单元的主要教学内容是安徒生童话故事。要求学生能在一定的情景下正确使用一般过去时句子There was/were…He/She was happy/…I/We/He/She/They laughed/…讲述故事。本单元学生只需初步了解过去式中的行为动词的规则变化和be动词的不规则变化。为了使学生更好地掌握本单元的句型和词汇,教师在教学过程中一定要根据学生的年龄特点,充分利用多媒体课件、图片、幻灯、简笔画等并加上形象化的动作和语言,使所教内容与学生生活紧密结合,提高学生实际运用语言的能力,从而为后三个单元一般过去时的继续学习做好铺垫。

1.能初步了解一般过去时的基本概念以及行为动词规则过去式(加ed,d)和be动词的过去式的用法。

①童话故事常常描述的是过去某个时间发生的动作或状态,使用的是一般过去时,这样的过去提示词有:long long ago, one day等。
②在一般过去时的句子中,动词需要变成过去式。常规变化:
am, is was, are were, 动词+ed
3.预习自测
圈出故事中的主要角色。
