countries are Chongqings major partners for internationalexchanges and cooperation.The two sides have conductedcomprehensive and fruitful exchanges and cooperation in economy andtrade,science and technology,education,and culture.The reporter learned fromChongqing FAO on May 25 that cooperation projects between Chongqing andthe EU are progressing well,and the future development is promising.The China-Europe Railway Express(Chongqing)has maintained a robustgrowth momentum in logistics exchanges with EU countries.Since 2011,it hasoperated more than 12,000 trips,with nearly 6,500 trains reaching EU countriesdirectly.The China-Europe Railway Express(Chongqing)has operated nearly20 routes directly to EU countries and has established distribution centers in 45cities of 15 EU countries.Its transportation system can reach all EU countries.According to statistics,from January to April this year,nearly 160 directtrains were operated between Chongqing and EU countries,transporting nearly13,000 TEU containers with a cargo value of RMB13.4 billion.Regardingexports,Chongqings direct outbound trains to EU countries operated more than90 trips,transporting about 7,470 TEU containers.The average time neededwas about 16-17 days.The goods included electronic information products,automobiles and auto parts,mechanical accessories,furniture,plastic products,textiles,daily necessities,etc.As for imports,more than 60 direct return trainsfrom EU countries to Chongqing were operated,transporting about 5,500 TEUcontainers.The goods were mainly imported whole vehicles and auto parts,mechanical parts,pharmaceuticals and medical equipment,alcohol and food,andcosmetics.China-Germany(Chongqing)Intelligent Industrial Park is also growingthrough 列。目前，中欧班列（重庆）已开行直达欧盟国家铁路线路近2 0 条，已在欧盟15 个国家4 5 个城市建立集结分拨点，运输辐射范围可覆盖欧盟全境。据统计，今年1一4 月，重庆一欧盟国家去回程直达班列数量发运近16 0 列，运输箱量近13 0 0 0 标箱，运输货值为13 4 亿元。其中，出口方面，重庆直达欧盟国家去程班列开行9 0 余列，运输箱量约7 4 7 0 标箱，平均运行时效16 一17 天左右，运输货物主要涉及电子信息产品、汽车整车及零配件、机械配件、家具、塑料制品、纺织品、日用品等；进口方面，欧盟国家直达重庆回程班列开行60余列，进口总箱量约5 5 0 0 标箱，运输货物主要为进口整车及汽配产品、机械工业配件、药品及医疗器械、酒水食品、化妆品等消费品。中德（重庆）智能产业园也在深入交往合作中不断壮大。中德（重庆）智能产业园位于永川区，于2 0 19 年获批成立，由德国高端数控机床、台正机床产业联盟和公共研发检测平台共三大块构成，目前已初步形成了高端数控机床+普及性机床+公共研发检测全产业链条。18The World and ChongqingIntelligent Industrial Park is located in YongchuanDistrict,approved for establishment in 2019.Itcovers an area of 200 m,consisting of Germanhigh-end CNC machine tools companies,TaizhengMachine Tool Industry Alliance,and a public R&Dand testing platform.It has formed a whole industrialchain of high-end CNC machine tools,NC machinetools,and public R&D and testing.Liebherr,the global machinery industry leader,and SW,known as the“Porsche of the machine-tool industry,have established their presence inthe Industrial Park.The companies in the Park sellabout one-third of CNC machine tools in Chongqing,building a reputation of“buying CNC machine toolsin YongchuanChina-Germany(Chongqing)IntelligentIndustrial Park will build itself into a concentration of high-end intelligent industrial clusters and an important exchangeand cooperation platform for Chinese and German intelligentindustries.It will gather technologies,capital,and talent neededfor innovative development.This can help Chongqing becomean important intelligent industry base in China,realize industrialtransformation and upgrading,and promote high-quality economicdevelopment.By 2025,the built-up area of the Park will reach 5km with improved infrastructure facilities.The surrounding livingarea will be built with European style and German elements.It willattract more German companies,serve as an important window forChongqings international cooperation and opening up,and becomea first-class intelligent park in Western China.Cooperation between Chongqing and Sweden is also doingwell.The EU delegation visited the Sandvik Coromant Center(Chongqing),the worlds leading metal-cutting tool manufacturer,to learn about its development in Chongqing.With the support ofChongqing government departments,the Center got off to a steadystart.It successfully held the Grand Opening Ceremony and theAerospace Tech Forum in May this year.Chongqing FAO noted that it would work with relevantorganizations and departments to serve as bridges connectingChina and other countries.By optimizing the environment andsetting up platforms,it will continuously strengthen friendlyexchanges between Chongqing and EU countries,enhance mutualunderstanding and friendship,and pool
