Look at the parts of pictures and sentences. Have a guessing game. Q: What do I see in the zoo? 2. Teach Ss some new words of animals and their characters. 3. Work in pairs. Show students three information cards about animals. Ask and answer like this: A: What’s the ... like? B: It’s.... A: Does it come from…? B: Yes, it does. / No, it doesn’t. It comes from… 用游戏导入引出本模块主题,激活有关动物的词汇,激发学生学习的兴趣。 教授动物名称词汇时可结合动物特征,一一对应起来,同时可补充其他动物名称,扩大学生词汇量。 ⅡPre-listening 1.(Activity2)  Now listen and answer : What animals do Lingling and Tony like? 2. In the meantime listen and check the words they can hear in Activity 1. 4. Play the recording for the students to answer. 小听力任务稍简单,教师可根据学情需要,增设问题,适当提高难度。 Ⅳ While- listening 1. Ask the Ss to answer: How many kinds of animals are there in the conversation? What are they? Play the recording in Activity 3 for the students to listen and answer. Check the answers in class. 2. Listen to the tape and complete the table. 3. Listen and answer: (1) What’s Lingling’s favourite animal? Why? (2) What’s the name of the panda? Listen and answer. 4. Work in groups of three and do role-play to read the dialogue. (student A: the guide, student B: Lingling, student C: Tony) 3. Work in pairs and do role-play. One day they go to Sunny’s Zoo, practise a dialogue like this: Guide: Welcome to Sunny’s Zoo! There are many kinds of animals. Here is the_____. Visitor: Does _____ eat _____? Guide: Yes, it does./ No, it doesn’t. It likes eating ___. Visitor: Does it come from _____?/ Where does it come from? Guide: ______________.It’s our friend! 跟读对话,模仿语音语调。 用角色扮演的方式既能引起学生的兴趣,又能有效地让学生操练复习课文的重点句式。 告诉学生们动物是我们的朋友,升华学生们的文化品格。 Homework Level A: 1. Listen and read the dialogue twice fluently. 2.
