Unit 4 At the farm A Let’s learn 教学设计

教材分析 
本课主要学习tomato，green beans , potato，carrot四个蔬菜名称以及各自单复数形式，通过学习学生能够简单对这几样蔬菜进行描述，学生能够培养起健康饮食，多吃蔬菜、水果，少吃油炸等不健康食物。 
学情分析 
      四年级的学生已经接触过一年的英语，掌握了基本的口语交际能力，同学之间能够进行简单的会话。
教学目标：
1、能听、说、认读单词：tomato、green beans、potato、carrot以及它们的复数形式。
　　2、通过说唱B部分的歌谣巩固所学单词的复数形式。
教具准备：
1、Let’s learn B部分的课件和录音。
　　2、相关的单词卡片。
　　3、所学蔬菜的实物。
　　4、Let’s chant的录音。
教学重点：单词：tomato、cucumber、potato、onion、carrot
教学难点：potato和tomato的复数形式。
教学过程：
一、Warm up
1.Sing a song:《Old Macdonald had a farm》.
2 .Free talk
T: Good morning.
S: Good morning.
T: Do you have lunch at school?
S: Yes ,I do.
T: Do you like some vegetables for lunch?
S: Sure.
T: Do you know where are the vegetables grow ?
S: At the farm.
T: Yes. The vegetables grow at the farm. Today, we’re going to learn Unit 4 At the farm. (学生读题目，导入新课。)
二、Preview.
1.接着上面的话题，检查预习情况：Boys and girls, I have a farm. It’s a QQ farm. Let’s go and see.(出示QQ农场)Look! What are these ? （请两名学生回答，答对者给予评价。）
2. Well. I want to harvest the vegetables.(教师边说单词，边收获蔬菜。)
三、Presentation and practice
师拿出四个装着蔬菜的盒子说：Where are the vegetables? They are in the boxes. Can you guess ?
教学green beans
1.师指着第一个盒子说：These vegetables are green. They are long. What are they? 学生猜：They are green beans.
2.师打开盒子拿出实物，教学green beans.出示PPT，区别单复数，大小声操练，师乘机贴图板书。
3.出示卡片，学生开火车读。（评价）
4.出示PPT,让学生补充描述：Look at the green beans .They’re so…
教学tomatoes
1.师指着第二个盒子说: Class ,look at the second box. There are red .They are so big. What are these？ 学生回答：They are tomatoes. T: Yes , they are tomatoes. 带读tomatoes.
2.师左手拿出一个说：This is a tomato. 右手拿两个说：These are tomatoes.
3.出示PPT,让学生自由操练单、复数，师乘机贴图板书。
4.出示PPT让学生描述：Look at the tomatoes .They’re so …（说得好的给予评价。）
教学potatoes
1.请一名学生上来摸一摸第三个盒子里的蔬菜，然后猜一猜:What are these ?S: They’re potatoes.
2.师打开盒子问其他学生：Are they potatoes ? Ss: Yes, they are. 带读potatoes,让学生进行高低调操练，师乘机贴图板书。
3.出示PPT，区分单复数后，再让学生描述：The potatoes are…（评价）
教学green beans
1.师指着剩下的一个盒子说：Look at the last box . Are they green beans ? Ss : No , they aren’t.
T: Are they tomatoes ? Ss: No, they aren’t. T: Are they potatoes? Ss : No ,they aren’t. T: What are these? 抽一名学生回答：They are carrots.师打开盒子说：Yes, they are carrots.
2.师随手拿起一根胡萝卜说：This is a carrot .带读该词，并让学生边传递胡萝卜边读单词。
出示PPT,区别单复数，再抽查学生描述：The potatoes are…（评价）
3.打开课本P39，学生听录音跟读A Let’s learn。
听一听，画一画。
T: Boys and girls , please take out the paper and colour pencils .Listen to me and draw the pictures.
1．Draw two potatoes , colour them yellow.
2．Draw two tomatoes, colour them red.
3．raw some green beans , colour green.
4．Draw two carrots ,colour them orange.
学生画完后，师拿一学生作品放在投影上，进行问答练习。再出示句型，让同桌之间互相询问。
Are they …?
Yes , they are./ No, they aren’t .
四．Consolidation & extension
1. Do a game.
各组抽两名学生上来，请另一名学生转过身去，一学生拿着蔬菜，转身的同学猜：You like…
其他学生做出相应的回答：Yes / No.
2. Let’s chant
师接着上面的游戏说：xxx likes carrots. xxx likes tomatoes . Mmm . Carrots I want to try. Tomatoes I want to try. I like green beans .I like potatoes. And I like onions , too.(拿出洋葱，闻一闻，揉揉眼睛)But onions make me cry.
出示PPT,教学onions . make me cry.再播放视频，学生跟读。
五．Summary
Today we leaned the words of the vegetables . Let’s read together.
六．Homework
1.读A Let’s learn 五次。
2.设计自己的农场，并用英文介绍里面的农作物。
3.预习新课。
教学反思： 
在预习部分，我利用学生感兴趣的QQ农场将学生的学习情绪全部调动起来，接着在呈现操练阶段，我教学4个新授蔬菜词汇时充分调动了学生的多个感官，让学生猜单词，激发了学生的学习兴趣，加深了学生对单词的记忆。并充分利用生活中的实物，让他们在所创设的情境中能够更好地融入到课堂教学中，从而将所学内容熟练运用到生活中。 每一个环节我都尽量为下一个环节埋下伏笔，做到环环相扣，一气呵成，课堂气氛相当活跃，学生反馈效果较好。不足之处是：由于时间关系，本课扩展得不够深入，未能对学生的健康饮食进行思想教育。
