Collective Lesson Preparation

Step 1. Greetings and warming up.
a. Introduce the teacher to the students.
b. Tell students that the teacher is very happy.Because he went to the park with his son and took many beautiful pictures.
C. Show the pictures to the students.
Ask:
Where did you go? What did you do there? Get the answers.
Step 2: Presentation.
a.Tell students Wu Yifan and Amy meet Sarah at school.Listen to the tape and circle the questions.
Play the tape .Students listen and circle the right answers.
b.Ask students listen to the tape about Amy’s holiday with questions:
1.Where did Amy go last winter holiday?
2.How did Amy go there?
3.How was the beach?
4.What did Amy do there?
Explain the words beach.
c.Students listen to the tape and answer the questions.
When they are answering, review the past words:
go-went, take-took.
Step 3: Practice:
a.Students read the dialogue after the teacher.
b.Make students in 3groups and read the dialogue.
c.Work in groups, students practice the dialogue and
act the dialogue.
d.Let’s try: Fill in the blanks with the dialogue.
e.Ask students work in pairs and make a new dialogue
with the sentences.
Step 4: Production:
Make a survey: Ask students to talk about their holidays in groups.Then choose some of them have a report.
Step 5: Consolidation:
Ask students to sum up the important sentences about
this lesson,then repeat them together.

Teaching Reflection
本节课是按照会话课的教学策略设计的，主要学习有关假期活动的英语过去式的表达，要求学生能询问和简单描述假期活动，主要句型是：Where did you go? What did you do? How did you go?本课的大部分动词在前几册已经出现过，因此在教学中我注意激活学生的记忆，以旧引新，引导学生熟练掌握，并注重创造宽松、和谐的学习氛围，以小组竞赛，游戏等方法进行教学，调动学生的积极性。教学设计环环相扣，分层次有梯度，注重创设真实的情景和语言环境，拓展面广，语言输出比较丰富。用多种形式进行教学和练习。
当然也存在一些问题，在练习时应更广泛，应针对学生特点分层分段提问；在学生答题或谈话出现错误时，应在孩子回答或谈论完后及时予以更正并加以操练；在学生练习时候，应注重讲解选择的原因。
总的来说，我在本节课能结合教材重难点及英语学科的特点，尽量创设真实的语言环境，设计一系列活动，让学生在感受、体验、参与、合作过程中学习语言，感受用英语交流的乐趣，培养学生综合运用英语进行交流的能力。
