学生都亲身经历了新旧教学楼的变迁,这样的语言知识的呈现方式迅速引起了学生的共鸣,让学生带着好奇心与悬念来学习语言知识。
同时呈现两个时间,学生可以在直观形象的语境中操练“now” and “before”.
学生对问句:were there any swings here?一定会很陌生,但是这对理解句子的意思并没什么障碍,加大语言信息输入量,以刺激学生语言输出。

2. (CAI)Guessing Game:
There are three chicks now. How many eggs were there before?
Guess it with “There were… eggs before.”
Chant一直就是孩子们喜爱的形式,这是一首自编的有关母鸡下蛋的Chant,节奏感和趣味性都很强,孩子们轻松愉快的、在真实的情境下学会了如何运用语言。
趁热打铁,紧跟上一环节,通过母鸡以前孵蛋的个数,来猜测现在小鸡的数量,同时进行互换,通过现在小鸡的数量,来猜测以前母鸡孵蛋的数量。答案本来就不唯一,学生可以运用“Therewas/were…”与“There is/are…”来进行猜测。通过游戏、活动的形式来操练语言知识是很有成效的。

一、 教材分析
本课课文以Smart女士和孩子们去超市购物作为主线,重点练习There be句型和形容词的表述。There be句型在以前的教材中已经学习过,而形容一个事物的特征在本课当中有着形象的描述,课文通过斯玛特女士和孩子们在超市的所见所闻来练习句型和描述物体的特征,让学生可以有一个直观的印象,这样设计的教材既自然又有效。
Module 2 的主题是"Shopping", "Unit 1 This one is heavy的语言功能是谈论超市中的商品及其特征。Unit 2 They sell different things谈论超市所售物品;其次学习如何购物。
教学目标
知识目标:学习掌握单词heavy、lift。
能力目标:能够自由运用There be句型描述物体。
情感目标:培养学生乐于助人的好习惯。
