语言观察课教学设计案例 Discovering Language 宁乡一中 高学辉 《新课程标准》提出了探究性学习的理念,指出学生应“发展探究知识的能力、获取信息的能力和自主学习的能力,引导学生通过自身的努力去发现和探究 ,让学生进行主动积极的学习。新编《牛津高中英语· 教师教学用书》使用说明中明确指出:确立以学生为主体的教学指导思想,充分考虑学生的需要,从“优化学习方式,提高自主学习能力”出发,设计各项教学步骤。语言观察课,旨在培养学生的两个能力,即语言学习能力和语言运用能力。其中语言学习能力即语言观察能力,学习者自己首先对语言进行细心、细致的体验与观察,然后通过相互讨论,合作探究等各种积极学习活动,充分发挥学生自身的学习潜能,在合作交流中积极相互学习,从而得到共同提高。笔者认为,语言观察能力是对学生能力培养中应使学生具备的“最重要的能力”,只有具备了这种自己观察并发现语言的能力,学生到了高三高考冲刺阶段才会有后劲,才会具有强大的“爆发力”。(语言学习能力+运用能力+高考前三个月的冲刺=爆发力)。 Module 5 Unit 3 A perfect copy Teaching Purpose: To develop learning ability. Step 3 Practice T: Now, please work together and make sentences with what you have discovered in the text. 关键词:体验、观察、讨论、合作与探究 1. 以“探究发现”为基本学习原则。新课程标准提出了探究性学习的理念,指出学生应“发展探究知识的能力、获取信息的能力和自主学习的能力”,引导学生通过自身的努力去发现和探究,让学生进行主动积极的学习。 2. 以“交流合作”为课堂活动主线。通过巧设任务,引导学生进行相互间的各种积极学习活动,让学生在合作交流中共同提高,并大大提高了全体学生整堂课的活动参与率。 3. 以“呈现任务”为学习的激励机制,激发学生学习、探究和运用语言的积极性。 在语言观察课的实际操作过程中,教师应注意给学生留出充足的时间让他们去观察、体验(observe),从而理解掌握文中语言现象,模仿运用语言知识(discover)。切忌走过场,匆匆忙忙,急于进行竞赛。竞赛可采用随机抽查的形式,如:Group3 Number6, 如若答不出来,则此题留给其他组去抢答,同时,还要要求学生能说出文中给他启示的句子。青少年学生都有好胜心和强烈的表现欲,这样的话,可激发学生在竞赛前做好充分的准备,保证各组每一个同学都积极参与课堂活动,从而培养和提高全班学生的自主学习、合作探究的学习能力及其英语素质,切实提高课堂教学效率。 3
