Step1: Warm-up
Greetings : Hello ,boys and girls. Nice to see you.
Ss: Hello. Mr Wu. Nice to see you, too.
T: What’s the weather like today? (带领学生复习有关天气的单词)
Ss: It’s warm.
T: Now, let’s look at the screen, what’s the weather like in the picture?
Ss: It’s hot.
Ss: It’s cold.
Ss: It’s cool.
Step2: Presentation:
(1)Good job! Boys and girls. Let’s enjoy a song .Can you tell me what’s the song about?(播放四季歌)
Ss: Season(板书并带读生词)
T: Look! It’s a park .As we can see that the trees are green and many people are flying kites. We also can see many beautiful flowers. What season is it?
Ss: Spring(板书并带读生词)
T: Do you like spring?
Ss: Yes, I do.
T: I like spring too. It’s green and beautiful. But it’s not my favourite season. So, what’s my favourite season? Do you want to know? Let’s see!
(2)Listen! It’s very noisy. Oh, the crickets are singing. So, what season is it ?
Ss: It’s summer. (板书并带读生词)
T: Do you like summer? Why?
S1: No, I don’t. It’s very hot.
S2: Yes, I do. I can eat ice-cream and go swimming.
T: So your favourite season is summer. Summer is hot. Many people like to go swimming, but swimming is dangerous. I think you should go to the swimming pool with your parents.
(3)T: OK, Let’s look at this picture. What colour is the picture?
Ss: It’s yellow.
T: Excellent! Everything is yellow. The leaves are yellow and they are falling down.What season is it?
Ss: It’s fall. (板书并带读生词)
T: Yes, It’s fall. Fall is yellow. Fall is cool. Do you like fall?
Ss: Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.
(4)T: But I don’t like fall. It makes me feel sad. Now, boys and girls, please look at my favourite season. Can you guess what season it is? It is cold and windy. We can see white beautiful snow everywhere. So, what season is it?
Ss: Winter. (板书并带读生词)
(5)T: Perfect! So, my favourite season is winter. What’s your favourite season? (板书并带读句型,师生对话)
S1: Spring.
S2: Summer.
S3: Fall.
S4: Winter.

T: As we all know that there are four seasons in a year. My favourite season is winter. Let’s work in pairs:
S1: What’s your favourite season?
S2: Spring.
Step4: Sing a song
T: OK, boys and girls, you all have done a good job. Now, let’s listen to a song and see how beautiful the season is!

As we all know that there are four seasons in a year. Every season is so colourful and full of beauties. So we should love the nature, and protect the nature from being polluted. Let the season more beautiful and colourful.
