1)双边贸易10年间增长15倍，年均增长32%注意：增长X倍可以翻译成increase by X times，涉及到数字的翻译要尽量简洁，且千万不能有误差。“年均增长32%”可翻成：with an annual growth rate of 32%，或者另起一句：The annual growth rate is 32%。C-E Interpretation(Passage 1)今年双边贸易额有望突破200亿美元，提前实现两国确定的2008年达到200亿美元的目标。“有望”可翻成：“is expected to”后半句中定语很长且不止一个，注意处理好两个定语与修饰“实现”的副词“提前”的摆放顺序，翻成“Realizing the goal ahead of time set by two countries for 2008。注意：英文中逻辑结构和中文有很大区别，调整句型语句结构更有利于表达原语的意义。C-E Interpretation(Passage 1)“中印互利互惠的经贸合作，给双方带来了实实在在的利益，巩固了两国关系的基础。”顺译：也称对译，在实际翻译中，能顺译的尽量顺译，实在不行再采取意译。可翻成：The mutually beneficial cooperation between China and India has brought about tangible benefits for sides and solidified the foundation of our bilateral relations.C-E Interpretation(Passage 1)“为实现这一目标，我们要努力改善贸易结构，提高商品技术含量和附加值，增加高新技术产品和机电产品在贸易中的比重，不断扩大贸易规模，提高合作水平。这句话中”改善，提高，增加，扩大“等动词，翻译时要根据后面的宾语来选择英文的对应词，且尽量要避免重复，这里的第一个提高可译“increase”，第二个提高则用“ungrade”，注意在中文中的同一个意思在英文中尽量用不同的词汇来表达。C-E Interpretation(Passage 1)中印在信息技术和能源资源、基础设施、科技、农业领域各具优势，互补性强，合作潜力巨大。这句可译成：China and India both have its own advantages in information technonlogy,energy resouces,infrastructure,science,technology and agriculture.They are also quite complementary in these areas,which offers great potentials for cooperation.中文原句中的内在因果关系在译文中得到充分诠释。C-E Interpretation(Passage 1)中国政府将继续鼓励有实力的中国企业到印度投资兴业，也欢迎更多印度公司赴华寻找商机。在翻译这句中，尤其是“继续鼓励”及“欢迎更多印度公司”中的“继续”、“更多”，若被忽视，则会体现出质的差别，从逻辑上也会和前面的内容有冲突和矛盾，因此翻译中要采取适度原则，看似无关紧要的词如果被删减，那么可能造成风格和程度上的差别，翻译就大打折扣了。C-E Interpretation(Passage 2)息息相关：be inseparably linked全面建设小康社会：build a moderately prosperous society in all aspects改革开放:reform and opening up清醒认识到：be keenly aware that实现现代化：achieve modernization中国特色社会主义道路：a socialist path with Chinese features富强民主文明和谐的：prosperous，democratic，culturally advanced，harmonious以人为本：people-oriented全面协调可持续发展：coordinated and sustainable developmentC-E Interpretation(Passage 2)如果中国发展不起来，13亿中国人民的生活得不到改善，那么，全人类共同利益得而实现就会受到影响。这句可以用虚拟语气，译为：If China failed to develop itself and the life of 1.3 billion Chinese people were not improved，the common interest of mankind would be seriously affected.C-E Interpretation(Passage 2)因此，中国把自己的事情办好，实现全面建设小康社会的宏伟目标，就是对全人类发展和福祉做出的历史性贡献。在英文中尽量保持句子的结构平衡，避免头重脚轻或头轻脚重，可翻成：Therefore，by developing itself and realizing the objective of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects,China makes a historical contribution to the development and well-being of mankind.C-E Interpretation(Passage 2)“居世界第四”和“居世界第三”一般采用两种的译法，前一个可译成：ranking（the）fourth in the world，后一句可译成：making it the third largest in the world.当涉及到数字的翻译，一定要准确，当碰到“近”，“接近”时可用“close to，almost，nearly”碰到“大约，差不多”可用“around，approximately，roughly，or so”等等。C-E Interpretation(Passage
