Medical statistics combines the statistical principle, method and medicine. It is the basic course of medical science. According to training objectives, medical statistics aims to develop statistical thinking ability and to master the basic method to sort out, summarize and analyze the medical statistical data of medical students. The principles of medical statistics are combined with the principles of theory and practice, which are closely related to the basic statistical problems in medicine. The purpose of the course is to enable students to master the basic theoretical knowledge, methods and skills of medical statistics, and lay the necessary statistical basis to apply them to medical practice, carry out scientific research, study other courses and read professional books.
Taking "Medical Statistics"(editor: Ma Bimrong. Version5.0) as the teaching materials, with reference to the national clinical practice physician qualification requirements, prepare a syllabus for undergraduate teaching for clinical medicine, rehabilitation therapy and so on without self-study hours.
This course requires teachers to teach students the ability to acquire knowledge and solve problems independently by mastering the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills through theoretical teaching, classroom discussion and practice. Professional courses and future practical work to lay a solid theoretical foundation.
